48:1
ወተንሥአ፡ ኤልያስ፡ ነቢይ፡ ዘከመ፡ እሳት፡ ወቃሉኒ፡ ከመ፡ ነድ፡ ያውዒ።
以利亞先知興起如火，他的話燃燒如火炬。
Also there arose Elijah the prophet as fire, And his word burned like a torch:
48:2
ወአምጽአ፡ ረኃብ፡ ላዕሌሆሙ፡ ወበቅንአቱ፡ አውኀዶሙ።
他使饑荒臨到他們，又以他的熱心使他們減少。
Who brought a famine upon them, And by his zeal made them few in number.
48:3
ወበቃለ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ከልኦ፡ ለሰማይ፡ ወአውረደ፡ እሳተ፡ እምሰማይ፡ ሥልሰ።
他憑著主的話關閉了天，也照樣三次使火降下。
By the word of the Lord he shut up the heaven: Thrice did he thus bring down fire.
48:4
እፎ፡ ተሰባሕከ፡ ኤልያስ፡ በስብሐቲከ፡ ወመኑ፡ ተመክሐ፡ ከማከ።
以利亞啊，你因你奇妙的作為何等得着榮耀！有誰能像你一樣誇耀呢？
How was you glorified, O Elijah, in your wondrous deeds! And who shall glory like to you?
48:5
ዘአንሥአ፡ በድነ፡ እምነ፡ ምውታን፡ ወእምነ፡ መቃብርኒ፡ በቃለ፡ ልዑል።
你憑著至高者的話，使死人從死裡、從陰間復活。
Who did raise up a dead man from death, And from the place of the dead, by the word of the Most High:
48:6
ወአውረዶሙ፡ ለነገሥት፡ ውስተ፡ ሞት፡ ወለክቡራን፡ እመነ፡ ዓራታቲሆሙ።
你使列王歸於滅亡，使尊貴的人從牀上墜落。
Who brought down kings to destruction, And honorable men from their bed:
48:7
ዘያ[ፀምእ፡]ኵነኔ፡ በሲና፡ ወበኮሬብ፡ ፍትሐ፡ ወበቀለ።
你在西奈聽見責備，在何烈聽見報應的審判。
Who heard rebuke in Sinai, And judgements of vengeance in Horeb:
48:8
ዘይቀብኦሙ፡ ለነገሥት፡ ወይትፈድዮሙ፡ ወተዐለዉ፡ ነቢያት፡ እምኔሁ።
你膏立列王施行報應，又膏立先知接續你。
Who anointed kings for retribution, And prophets to succeed after him:
48:9
ዘዐርገ፡ በነደ፡ እሳት፡ በሰረገላት፡ ወበአፍራስ፡ ዘእሳት።
你在火的旋風中被接去，坐在火馬的車輦上。
Who was taken up in a tempest of fire, In a chariot of fiery horses:
48:10
ዘአጽሐፈ፡ ኵነኔ፡ ለዕድሜሁ፡ ከመ፡ ያቊርር፡ መዐተ፡ እምቅድመ፡ መቅሠፍት፡ ወከመ፡ ያግብእ፡ ልበ፡ አብ፡ ኀበ፡ ውሉድ፡ ወከመ፡ ያቅሞሙ፡ ለአሕዛበ፡ ያዕቆብ።
經上記載，你必在所定的時候顯現，要在烈怒發作之前平息忿怒，使父親的心轉向兒子，又重立雅各的眾支派。
Who was recorded for reproofs in their seasons, To pacify anger, before it brake forth into wrath; To turn the heart of the father to the son, And to restore the tribes of Jacob.
48:11
ብፁዓን፡ እለ፡ ያአምሩከ፡ ወእለ፡ ስርግዋን፡ በፍቅርከ፡ ወንሕነሂ፡ ሕይወተ፡ ነሐዩ፡(በእንቲአከ)።
凡見過你的人有福了，那些在愛中安睡的人也有福了；因為我們也必確實得着生命。
Blessed are those who saw you, And those who have been beautified with love; For we also shall surely live.
48:12
ኤልያስ፡ ዘዐርገ፡ በነደ፡ እሳት፡ ወኤልሳዕኒ፡ ዘመልአ፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ እምነ፡ መንፈሱ፡(ቅዱስ)፡ወበመዋዕሊሁኒ፡ ኢያደንግጽዎ፡ መላእክት፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘተዐገሎ፡ ወኢመኑሂ።
以利亞被旋風遮蓋；以利沙被他的靈充滿，在他一切的日子，不被任何官長動搖，也無人能轄制他。
Elijah it was, who was wrapped in a tempest: And Elisha was filled with his spirit; And in all his days he was not moved by the fear of any ruler, And no one brought him into subjection.
48:13
ወእምኵሉ፡ ነገር፡ አልቦ፡ ዘተስእኖ፡ ወመዊቶሂ፡ ተነበየ፡ በድኑ።
沒有甚麼能勝過他；他長眠之後，他的身體仍然說預言。
Nothing was too high for him; And when he was laid on sleep his body prophesied.
48:14
ወበሕይወቱሂ፡ ገብረ፡ ነኪረ፡ ወመሞቱሂ፡ ዕጹብ፡ ግብሩ።
他活著時行了奇事，死的時候作為也是奇妙的。
As in his life he did wonders, So in death were his works marvelous.
48:15
ወምስለዝ፡ ኵሉ፡ ኢነስሑ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ወኢኀደጉ፡ ጌጋዮሙ፡ እስከ፡ ተፄወዉ፡ እምነ፡ ብሔሮሙ፡ ወተዘርዉ፡ ውስተ፡ ኵሉ፡ ምድር፡ ወተርፉ፡ ኅዳጣን፡ እምውስተ፡ ሕዝብ፡ ወመልአ[ክ]፡ እምነ፡ ቤተ፡ ዳዊት።
雖有這一切，百姓仍不悔改，也不離棄他們的罪，直到他們從本地被擄掠，分散在全地。
For all this the people repented not, And they departed not from their sins, Till they were carried away as a plunder from their land, And were scattered through all the earth; And the people was left very few in number, And a ruler was left in the house of David.
48:16
ወቦ፡ እምውስቴቶሙ፡ እለ፡ ገብሩ፡ ሠናየ፡ ወቦ፡ እለ፡ አብዝኅዋ፡ ለኃጢአት።
於是百姓所剩無幾，只有一位首領留在大衛家中。他們中間有些人行主所喜悅的事，有些人卻增添罪惡。
Some of them did that which was pleasing to God, And some multiplied sins.
48:17
ወሕዝቅያስኒ፡ አጽንዐ፡ ሀገሮ፡ ወአብአ፡ ማየ፡ ማእከላ፡ ወአውቀረ፡ ኰኵሐ፡ በኀጺን፡ ወሐነጸ፡ ምዕቃለ፡ ማይ።
希西家堅固他的城，又引水進入城中；他用鐵器鑿開堅硬的磐石，築造蓄水的池子。
Hezekiah fortified his city, And brought in water into the midst of them: He digged the sheer rock with iron, And built up wells for waters.
48:18
ወዐርገ፡ ስናክሬም፡ በመዋዕሊሁ፡ ወለአኮ፡ ለረፍስቂስ፡ ወሖረ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ ወአንስአ፡ እዴሁ፡ ላዕለ፡ ጽዮን፡ ወተዘኀረ፡ ወአዕበየ፡ አፉሁ።
在他的日子，西拿基立上來，差遣拉伯沙基，又向錫安舉手，狂傲地誇大其詞。
In his days Sennacherib came up, And sent Rabshakeh, and departed; And he lifted up his hand against Sion, And boasted great things in his arrogancy.
48:19
ወውእተ፡ አሚረ፡ ደንገጾሙ፡ ልቦሙ፡ ወእደዊሆሙ፡ ወሐሙ፡ ከመ፡ እንተ፡ ትውልድ።
那時他們的心和手都顫抖了，疼痛如同臨產的婦人；
Then were their hearts and their hands shaken, And they were in pain, as women in travail;
48:20
ወጸውዕዎ፡ ለአእግዚአብሔር፡ ለመሓሪ፡ ወአንሥኡ፡ እደዊሆሙ፡ ኀቤሁ፡ ወፍጡነ፡ ሰምዖሙ፡ ቅዱስ፡ እምሰማይ፡ ወቤዘዎሙ፡ በእደዊሁ፡ ለ[ኢሳይያስ]።
他們便向那有憐憫的主求告，向祂舉手張開；那聖者就從天上速速垂聽他們，藉著以賽亞的手拯救他們。
And they called upon the Lord which is merciful, Spreading forth their hands to him: And the Holy One heard them speedily out of Heaven, And delivered them by the hand of Isaiah.
48:21
ወቀተሎሙ፡ ተዓይኒሆሙ፡ ለፋርስ፡ ወቀጥቀጦሙ፡ መልአኩ።
主擊打亞述的營，祂的使者把他們全然滅絕。
He struck the camp of the Assyrians, And his angel utterly destroyed them.
48:22
እስመ፡ ገብረ፡ ሕዝቅያስ፡ ዘይኤድሞ፡ ለእግዘአብሔር፡ ወአጽንዐ፡ [እኂዘ፡]ፍናዌ፡ ዳዊት፡ አቡሁ፡ በከመ፡ አዘዘ፡ ኢሳይያስ፡ ነቢይ፡ ወምእመን፡ ውእቱ፡ ወዐቢይ፡ ራእዩ።
因為希西家行主所喜悅的事，又堅守他祖大衛的道路，就是先知以賽亞所吩咐的；以賽亞是偉大的，在他的異象上是可信的。
For Hezekiah did that which was pleasing to the Lord, And was strong in the ways of David his father, Which Isaiah the prophet commanded, Who was great and faithful in his vision.
48:23
ወተፀርዐት፡ ፀሓይ፡ በመዋዕሊሁ፡ ወወሰኮ፡ ዓመቲሁ፡ ለንጉሥ።
在他的日子，太陽倒退，主又增添王的壽數。
In his days the sun went backward; And he added life to the king.
48:24
ወበዐቢይ፡ መንፈስ፡ ርእየ፡ ደኃሪተ፡ ወአስተፍሥሖሙ፡ ለእለ፡ ይላሕዉ፡ በጽዮን።
以賽亞以大能的靈看見末後的事，又安慰那些在錫安悲哀的人。
He saw by an excellent spirit what should come to pass at the last; And he comforted those who mourned in Sion.
48:25
ወነገረ፡ ዘይከውን፡ ለዓለም፡ ወዘኒ፡ ኅቡእ፡ ዘእንበለ፡ ይኩን።
他在事情發生之先，指明瞭直到末了將要發生的事和隱密的事。
He showed the things that should be to the end of time, And the hidden things or ever they came.
