7:1
ኢትግበራ፡ ለእኪት፡ ወኢይረክበከ፡ እኩይ።
不要行惡，惡事就不會臨到你。
Do no evil, so will no evil overtake you.
7:2
ተገሐሥ፡ እምነ፡ ዓመፃ፡ ወትትገሐሥ፡ እምኔከ፡ ለሊሃኒ።
要遠離不義，不義就必離開你。
Depart from wrong, and it will turn away from you.
7:3
ኢትዝራዕ፡ ውስተ፡ ትልመ፡ ኀጢአት፡ ከመ፡ ኢትእርራ፡ ለከ፡ ምስብዒተ።
我兒，不要在不義的犁溝中撒種，免得你收割它七倍。
My son, sow not upon the furrows of unrighteousness, And you shall not reap them sevenfold.
7:4
ኢትስአል፡ በኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ መንግሥተ፡ ወኢትስአል፡ በኀበ፡ ንጉሥ፡ መንበረ፡ ክብር።
不要向主求權位，也不要向君王求尊榮的座位。
Seek not of the Lord preeminence, Neither of the king the seat of honor.
7:5
ኢትጸደቅ፡ ቅድመ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወኢትጠበብ፡ በኀበ፡ ንጉሥኒ።
不要在主面前自以為義，也不要在君王面前賣弄智慧。
Justify not yourself in the presence of the Lord; And display not your wisdom before the king.
7:6
ወኢትፍቅድ፡ ከዊነ፡ መኰንን፡ ዮጊ፡ ኢትክል፡ ተበቅሎቶ፡ ለዘአበሰ፡ ወዮጊ፡ ታደሉ፡ ለገጸ፡ ዐቢይ፡ ወታበውእ፡ ኀጢአተ፡ ማእከለ፡ ጽድቅ።
不要求作審判官，恐怕你不能除去不義；又恐怕你畏懼權貴的臉面，便在你的正直上絆倒人。
Seek not to be a judge, Lest you be not able to take away iniquities; Lest haply you fear the person of a mighty man, And lay a stumbling block in the way of your uprightness.
7:7
ወኢተአብስ፡ ሰብአ፡ ሀገርከ፡ ወኢታስሕት፡ ርእስከ፡ በማእከለ፡ ሕዝብከ።
不要得罪城中的會眾，也不要在羣眾中貶低自己。
Sin not against the multitude of the city, And cast not yourself down in the crowd.
7:8
ወኢትፀምር፡ አሲረ፡ ክልኤቱ፡ ኀጣይእ፡ ወኅቡረ፡ ኢታድርግ፡ እስመ፡ እምውስተ፡ አሐቲሰ፡ ኢታመሥጥ፡ ገቢረ።
不要重蹈罪過，因為僅犯一次，你也難逃刑罰。
Bind not up sin twice; For in one sin you will not be unpunished.
7:9
ወኢትበል፡ በብዝኀ፡ መባዕየ፡ ይሰሪ፡ ሊተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወእም፡ ከመ፡ አባእኩ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ልዑል፡ ይሣሃለኒ።
不要說：『主必看顧我眾多的禮物，我向至高的神獻祭時，他必悅納。』
Say not, He will look upon the multitude of my gifts, And when I offer to the Most High God, he will accept it.
7:10
ወኢትጐጕእ፡ ሶበ፡ ትጼሊ፡ ወኢታስትት፡ ገቢረ፡ ምጽዋት።
禱告時不要灰心喪膽，也不要忽略施捨。
Be not faint-hearted in your prayer; And neglect not to give alms.
7:11
ወኢትሥሐቅ፡ ላዕለ፡ ሰብእ፡ ሕዙን፡ እስመ፡ ሀለወ፡ ዘያሐምም፡ ወያስተፌሥሕ።
當人心靈愁苦時，不要譏笑他，因為那使人卑微也使人高升的，乃是主。
Laugh not a man to scorn when he is in the bitterness of his soul; For there is one who humbles and exalts.
7:12
ወኢትሕርስ፡ ሐሰተ፡ ላዕለ፡ ቢጽከ፡ ወኢትግበር፡ ከመ፡ ዝ፡ ላዕለ፡ ዐርክከ፡ ወቢጽከ።
不要捏造謊言陷害你的弟兄，也不要這樣對待朋友。
Devise not a lie against your brother; Neither do the like to a friend.
7:13
ወኢታፍቅር፡ ሐሰተ፡ ለዝሉፉ፡ ወኢ፡ በምንትኒ፡ እስመ፡ ደኃሪታ፡ ትብእሰከ።
不要喜愛說任何謊言，因為說謊的習慣絕無益處。
Love not to make any manner of lie; For the custom thereof is not for good.
7:14
ኢትዛለፍ፡ በማእከለ፡ ሊቃውንት፡ ወኢትሚጥ፡ ብፅዐቲከ፡ ዘነበብከ፡ በአፉከ፡ ወኢትወልጥ፡ ቃለከ።
在眾長者中不要喋喋不休，禱告時也不要重複言語。
Prate not in the multitude of elders; And repeat not your words in your prayer.
7:15
ወኢታስትት፡ ተግባረ፡ እደዊከ፡ ወዘርአከ፡ ዘያበቊል፡ ለከ፡ ፈጣሪከ።
不要厭惡勞苦的工作，也不要厭惡至高者所定的農耕之事。
Hate not laborious work; Neither husbandry, which the Most High has ordained.
7:16
ወኢትኅበር፡ ምስለ፡ ኃጥኣን፡ ለእመ፡ በዝኁ።
不要把自己列入罪人的羣中，要記得忿怒不會遲延。
Number not yourself among the multitude of sinners: Remember that wrath will not wait.
7:17
ተዘከር፡ ከመ፡ ኢይጐነዲ፡ መንሱት፡ ፈድፋደ፡ አትሕታ፡ ለነፍስከ፡ እስመ፡ ፍዳሆሙ፡ ለኃጥኣን፡ ዕፄ፡ ወእሳት።
你要極其謙卑你的心靈，因為不敬虔之人所受的刑罰乃是火與蟲。
Humble your soul greatly; For the punishment of the ungodly man is fire and the worm.
7:18
ወእንተ፡ ጸብሐት፡ ኢትወልጥ፡ ዐርከ፡ ወኢትህጐል፡ ዐርከከ፡ በእንተ፡ ወርቅ፡ ቀይሕ።
不要為了財利更換朋友，也不要為俄斐的金子更換真誠的弟兄。
Change not a friend for a thing indifferent; Neither a true brother for the gold of Ophir.
7:19
ወኢትጽላእ፡ ብእሲተ፡ ጠባበ፡ ወኄርተ፡ እስመ፡ ሞገሳ፡ ይትበደር፡ እምወርቅ።
不要捨棄智慧賢良的妻子，因為她的恩惠勝過金子。
Forgo not a wise and good wife; For her grace is above gold.
7:20
ወኢታሐሥም፡ ላዕለ፡ ነባሪከ፡ ዘበጽድቅ፡ ይትቀነይ፡ ለከ፡ ወኢ፡ ላዕለ፡ ገባኢከ፡ ዘይሜጡ፡ ነፍሶ፡ በእንቲኣከ።
不要苦待忠實作工的僕人，也不要苦待全心勞力的僱工。
Entreat not evil a servant that works truly, Nor a hireling that gives you his life.
7:21
አፍቅሮ፡ እምነፍስከ፡ ለጠቢብ፡ ነባሪከ፡ ወኢታህጕሎ፡ ዕሴቶ፡ ከመ፡ ታግዕዞ፡ እንተ፡ ተሰፈወከ።
你的心要愛智慧的僕人，不要剝奪他得自由的權利。
Let your soul love a wise servant; Defraud him not of liberty.
7:22
ወኢትኅድግ፡ ዘልፈ፡ ፈቂደ፡ እንስሳከ፡ ወዘበቊዐከ፡ እምውስቴቶሙ፡ አቅርብ፡ ኀቤከ።
你有牲畜嗎？就當看顧牠們；牠們若對你有益，就讓牠們留在你身邊。
Hast you cattle? have an eye to them; And if they are profitable to you, let them stay by you.
7:23
ለእመ፡ ብከ፡ ውሉደ፡ ገሥጾሙ፡ ወመሀሮሙ፡ እምንእሶሙ፡ ግምጽ፡ ክሣዶሙ።
你有兒女嗎？就當管教他們，從幼年起就使他們的頸項俯伏。
Hast you children? correct them, And bow down their neck from their youth.
7:24
ወለእመ፡ ብከ፡ አዋልደ፡ ዕቀቦን፡ ወኢታስሕቶን፡ ወኢትሥሐቅ፡ ሎቶን፡ ወኢትየውሆን።
你有女兒嗎？就當留心她們的貞節，不要對她們和顏悅色。
Hast you daughters? give heed to their body, And make not your face cheerful toward them.
7:25
አብጽሓ፡ ለወለትከ፡ በዐቅማ፡ ወዕቅባ፡ ወዐቢየ፡ ግብረ፡ ፈጸምከ፡ ወአንፈስከ፡ ወለብእሲ፡ ጠቢብ፡ አስተዋስባ።
把女兒嫁出去，你就成就了一件大事；要把她許配給有見識的人。
Give your daughter in marriage, and you will have accomplished a great matter: And give her to a man of understanding.
7:26
ወለእመ፡ ብከ፡ ብእሲተ፡ እንተ፡ ከመ፡ ነፍስከ፡ ኢታውፅኣ።
你有合你心意的妻子嗎？就不要休棄她；但對你所憎厭的，不要把自己交託。
Hast you a wife after your mind? cast her not out: But trust not yourself to one that is hateful.
7:27
በኵሉ፡ ልብከ፡ አክብሮ፡ ለአቡከ፡ ወኢትርሳዕ፡ ሕማማ፡ ለእምከ።
你要全心榮耀你的父親，也不要忘記你母親生產的痛苦。
Give glory to your father with your whole heart; And forget not the pangs of your mother.
7:28
ወተዘከር፡ ከመ፡ እንበይነ፡ ዚኣሆሙ፡ ተወለድከ፡ ወምንተ፡ ተዐስዮሙ፡ ህየንተ፡ ዘገብሩ፡ ለከ።
要記得你是藉著他們而生的；他們既待你如此，你又能拿什麼來報答他們呢？
Remember that of them you were born: And what will you recompense them for the things that they have done for you?
7:29
በኵሉ፡ ነፍስከ፡ ፍርሆ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ወአክብሮሙ፡ ለካህናቲሁ።
你要全心敬畏主，並尊崇他的祭司。
Fear the Lord with all your soul; And reverence his priests.
7:30
ወበኵሉ፡ ኀይልከ፡ አፍቅሮ፡ ለፈጣሪከ፡ ወኢትኅድጎሙ፡ ለእለ፡ ይፀመድዎ።
你要竭盡全力愛那造你的，不要離棄他的眾僕役。
With all your strength love him that made you; And forsake not his ministers.
7:31
ፍርሆ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ወአክብሮ፡ ለዘይፀመዶ፡ ወሀብ፡ ክፍሎ፡ ዘእዙዝ፡ ለከ፡ ቀዳምያተ፡ ወዘበእንተ፡ ኀጢአት፡ ወመዝራዕተ፡ ወመሥዋዕተ፡ ቅድሳት፡ ወቀዳሜ፡ ቅድሳት።
你要敬畏主，尊榮祭司，照所吩咐你的把分給他：就是初熟之物、贖愆祭、所獻的肩肉、成聖的祭物，以及聖物的初熟之果。
Fear the Lord, and glorify the priest; And give him his portion, even as it is commanded you; The first fruits, and the trespass offering, and the gift of the shoulders, And the sacrifice of sanctification, and the first fruits of holy things.
7:32
ወለነዳይኒ፡ ስፋሕ፡ እዴከ፡ ከመ፡ ፍጽምተ፡ ትኩን፡ በረከትከ።
也要向窮人伸手周濟，好使你所得的福得以完全。
Also to the poor man stretch out your hand, That your blessing may be perfected.
7:33
ወዕሴተ፡ ጸጋከ፡ ትረክብ፡ በእንተ፡ ኵሉ፡ ነፍስከ፡ ወለዘሞተሂ፡ ኢትኅድግ፡ ጸግዎ።
在一切活人面前，餽贈都有恩惠；對於死者，也不要止住你的恩慈。
A gift has grace in the sight of every man living; And for a dead man keep not back grace.
7:34
ወኢትትኅደግ፡ እምእለ፡ ይበክዩ፡ ወይላሑ፡ ምስለ፡ እለ፡ ይላሕዉ።
不要遠離哀哭的人，要與悲傷的人同悲傷。
Be not lacking to those who weep; And mourn with those who mourn.
7:35
ወኢትትሀከይ፡ ሐውጾ፡ ድዉይ፡ ወበዝንቱ፡ ያፈቅሩከ።
不要懶於探望患病的人，因為這樣的事必使你蒙人愛戴。
Be not slow to visit a sick man; For by such things you will gain love.
7:36
ውስተ፡ ኵሉ፡ ዘተናገርከ፡ ተዘከራ፡ ለደኃሪትከ፡ ወኢትአብስ፡ ለዝሉፉ።
在你一切的事上，要記念你的結局，你就永不致犯罪。
In all your matters remember your last end, And you will never do amiss.
