10:1
ንጉሥ፡ ጠቢብ፡ ይጌሥጽ፡ አሕዛቢሁ፡ ወመኰንን፡ ለባዊ፡ ይገብር፡ ሥርዐተ።
智慧的審判官必教導他的百姓，有見識之人的治理必井然有序。
A wise judge will instruct his people; And the government of a man of understanding will be well ordered.
10:2
ከመ፡ መልአከ፡ አሕዛብ፡ ከማሁ፡ ወዓሊሁ፡ ወከመ፡ መኰንና፡ ለሀገር፡ ይገብሩ፡ እለ፡ ውስቴታ።
百姓的審判官怎樣，他的官員也怎樣；城邑的治理者怎樣，城中的居民也都怎樣。
As is the judge of his people, so are his ministers; And as is the ruler of the city, such are all those who dwell therein.
10:3
ንጉሥ፡ አብድ፡ የሀጕል፡ አሕዛቢሁ፡ ወሀገርኒ፡ ትጸንዕ፡ በጥበቢሆሙ፡ ለሊቃውንቲሃ።
無學識的君王必毀滅他的百姓，城邑卻因有見識的權貴而得堅立。
An uninstructed king will destroy his people; And a city will be established through the understanding of the powerful.
10:4
ውስተ፡ እዴሁ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ኵነኔሃ፡ ለምድር።
地上的權柄在主的手中，他必按時興起合用的人治理。
In the hand of the Lord is the authority of the earth; And in due time he will raise up over it one that is profitable.
10:5
ወእምገጹ፡ ለጸሓፊ፡ ይትዐወቅ፡ ጥበቢሁ።
人的興盛在乎主的手，他必將自己的尊榮加在文士身上。
In the hand of the Lord is the prosperity of a man; And upon the person of the scribe will he lay his honor.
10:6
ወበኵሉ፡ ዘስሕተ፡ ቢጽከ፡ ኢትኂሶ፡ ወአልቦ፡ ዘትገብር፡ ሕሡመ፡ ምንተኒ፡ በዘኄስካሁ።
不要因鄰舍的每件過錯就向他懷恨，也不要做任何凌辱人的暴行。
Be not angry with your neighbor for every wrong; And do nothing by works of violence.
10:7
ጽሉእ፡ ትዕቢት፡ በኀበ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወበኀበ፡ ዕጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ ወእምኵሉ፡ ተዐኪ፡ ዓመፃ።
驕傲在主與人面前都是可憎的，在兩者看來不義都是過犯。
Pride is hateful before the Lord and before men; And in the judgement of both will unrighteousness err.
10:8
መንግሥትሰ፡ ትትፋለስ፡ እምሕዝብ፡ ለሕዝብ፡ እንበይነ፡ ዓመፃ፡ ወእንበይነ፡ ጋእዝ፡ ወእንበይነ፡ ንዋይ።
國權因不義、暴行與貪財，從這國轉移到那國。
Sovereignty is transferred from nation to nation, Because of iniquities, and deeds of violence, and greed of money.
10:9
ወለምንት፡ እንከ፡ ይትዔበይ፡ መሬት፡ ወሐመድ፡ ዘእንዘ፡ ሕያው፡ ውእቱ፡ ዘይጸይእ፡ ነፍስቱ።
塵土與灰燼有什麼可驕傲的呢？因為人活著的時候已把自己的臟腑拋棄了。
Why is earth and ashes proud? Because in his life he has cast away his bowels.
10:10
ለቊስልኒ፡ ዐቢይ፡ ይፌውሶ፡ ዐቃቤ፡ ሥራይ፡ ወንጉሠሰ፡ ለዮም፡ ዳእሙ፡ ወጌሠመ፡ ይመውት።
久病連醫生也嗤笑；今日是君王，明日就要死亡。
It is a long disease; the physician mocketh: And he is a king today, and tomorrow he will die.
10:11
ወእም፡ ከመ፡ ሞተ፡ ሰብእ፡ ይከውን፡ ክፍለ፡ ዕፄ።
因為人一死，所承受的便是爬蟲、走獸與蛆蟲。
For when a man is dead, He will inherit creeping things, and beasts, and worms.
10:12
ቀዳሚሃ፡ ለትዕቢት፡ ታውፅኦ፡ እምእግዚአብሔር፡ ወታክሕዶ፡ ልቦ፡ እምነ፡ ፈጣሪሁ።
人驕傲的起頭，就是離棄主，他的心也離棄了造他的主。
It is the beginning of pride when a man departs from the Lord; And his heart is departed from him that made him.
10:13
ቀዳሚሃ፡ ለትዕቢት፡ ኀጢአት፡ ወለዘአጽንዐ፡ ላዕሌሃ፡ ታበዝኅ፡ ላዕሌሁ፡ ርኵሰ፡ ወእንበይነ፡ ዝንቱ፡ ያርኢ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ፍዳሆሙ፡ ወይገፈትዖሙ፡ ለዝሉፉ።
驕傲的起頭就是罪，持守驕傲的人必湧出可憎之事；因此主使他們遭受奇異的災禍，將他們徹底傾覆。
For the beginning of pride is sin; And he that keeps it will pour forth abomination. For this cause the Lord brought upon them strange calamities, And overthrew them utterly.
10:14
ነሠተ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ መናብርቲሆሙ፡ ለመላእክት፡ ወሤመ፡ የዋሃነ፡ ህየንቴሆሙ።
主推倒掌權者的寶座，使謙卑的人代之而坐。
The Lord cast down the thrones of rulers, And set the meek in their stead.
10:15
ሥርዎሙ፡ ለአሕዛብ፡ መልሐ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወተከለ፡ ትሑታነ፡ ህየንቴሆሙ።
主拔出列國的根，栽種卑微的人代之而立。
The Lord plucked up the roots of nations, And planted the lowly in their stead.
10:16
በሓውርተ፡ አሕዛብ፡ ደምሰሰ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ወሠረዎሙ፡ እስከ፡ መሠረተ፡ ምድር።
主傾覆列國的疆土，將它們毀滅直到地的根基。
The Lord overthrew the lands of nations, And destroyed them to the foundations of the earth.
10:17
ወአሰሰሎሙ፡ ወአጥፍኦሙ፡ ወሰዐረ፡ እምድር፡ ዝክሮሙ።
他從其中除滅他們，使他們消亡，使他們的紀念從地上止息。
He took some of them away, and destroyed them, And made their memorial to cease from the earth.
10:18
አኮ፡ ለዕጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ ዘተፈጥረ፡ ትዕቢት፡ ወአኮ፡ ለዘይትወለድ፡ እምአንስት፡ መዓት፡ ወመንሱት።
驕傲原非為人受造，暴怒也非為婦人所生的後裔而設。
Pride has not been created for men, Nor wrathful anger for the offspring of women.
10:19
ዘርዕ፡ ክቡር፡ ዘርዐ፡ ዕጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ አይኑ፡ ዘርዕ፡ ክቡር፡ ዘርዖሙ፡ ለፈራህያነ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ዘርዕ፡ ኅሡር፡ ዘርዕ፡ ለዕጓለ፡ እመሕያው፡ አይኑ፡ ዘርዕ፡ ኅሡር፡ ዘርዖሙ፡ ለእለ፡ ኢየዐቅቡ፡ ትእዛዘ።
何種後裔有尊榮？人的後裔。何種後裔有尊榮？敬畏主的人。何種後裔無尊榮？人的後裔。何種後裔無尊榮？違背誡命的人。
What manner of seed has honor? the seed of man. What manner of seed has honor? those who fear the Lord. What manner of seed has no honor? the seed of man. What manner of seed has no honor? those who transgress the commandments.
10:20
ክቡር፡ ውእቱ፡ መኰንን፡ እምነ፡ ቢጹ፡ ወእለኒ፡ ይፈርህዎ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ይከብሩ፡ እምኔሁ።
在弟兄之中，治理他們的人有尊榮；在主的眼中，敬畏他的人有尊榮。
In the midst of kindred he that rules them has honor; And in the eyes of the Lord those who fear him.
10:22
ለባዕልኒ፡ ወለክቡርኒ፡ ወለነዳይኒ፡ በፈሪሀ፡ እግዚአብሔር፡ ይከውኖሙ፡ ምክሖሙ።
富足的、尊貴的、貧窮的，他們的誇耀都在乎敬畏主。
The rich man, and the honorable, and the poor, Their glorying is the fear of the Lord.
10:23
አኮ፡ ርቱዕ፡ ያስተአክይዎ፡ ለነዳይ፡ እንበይነ፡ ንዴቱ፡ ወአኮ፡ ርቱዕ፡ ያክብርዎ፡ ለብእሲ፡ ኃጥእ፡ እንበይነ፡ ብዕሉ።
羞辱有見識的窮人是不公義的，尊崇犯罪的人也是不相宜的。
It is not right to dishonor a poor man that has understanding; And it is not fitting to glorify a man that is a sinner.
10:24
ይከብሩ፡ ዐበይትኒ፡ ወመላእክትኒ፡ ወመኳንንትኒ፡ ወአልቦ፡ እምውስቴቶሙ፡ ዘየዐብዮ፡ ለፈራሄ፡ እግዚአብሔር።
權貴、審判官與掌權者必得尊榮，但他們中間沒有一個比敬畏主的人更大。
The great man, and the judge, and the mighty man, will be glorified; And there is not one of them greater than he that fears the Lord.
10:25
ነባሬ፡ ጠቢብ፡ ንጹሐ፡ ይትለአክ፡ ወብእሲ፡ ማእምር፡ ኢየኀይሶ።
自由人必服事智慧的僕人，有見識的人必不為此發怨言。
Free men will minister to a wise servant; And a man that has knowledge will not murmur thereat.
10:26
ኢትጠበብ፡ እንዘ፡ ትገብር፡ ግብረከ፡ ወኢትትዐበይ፡ በመዋዕለ፡ ተጽናስከ።
作工時不要自作聰明，在你困迫之時也不要自我誇耀。
Be not over wise in doing your work; And glorify not yourself in the time of your distress.
10:27
ይኄይስ፡ ዘይትቀነይ፡ ወይትጌበር፡ እምነ፡ ዘያንሶሱ፡ ወይትሜካህ፡ ወኢይረክብ፡ ሲሳዮ።
勞力作工而凡事豐足的人，勝過自我誇耀卻缺乏食物的人。
Better is he that labores, and abounds in all things, Than he that glorifieth himself, and lacketh bread.
10:28
ወልድየ፡ በየውሃትከ፡ አስተፍሥሐ፡ ለነፍስከ፡ ወአስተዳልዋ፡ በአምጣነ፡ ትክል።
孩子啊，要以謙遜榮耀你的心靈，按它應得的尊貴待它。
My son, glorify your soul in meekness, And give it honor according to the worthiness thereof.
10:29
ዘላዕለ፡ ነፍሱ፡ ይኤብስ፡ ለመኑ፡ ኄረ፡ ይከውን፡ ወለዘ፡ ኢያስተዳልዋ፡ ለነፍሱ፡ መኑ፡ የአኵቶ።
得罪自己心靈的人，誰能稱他為義？輕看自己生命的人，誰能尊榮他？
Who will justify him that sins against his own soul? And who will glorify him that dishonors his own life?
10:30
ለነዳይሰ፡ ይንእድዎ፡ በጥበቢሁ፡ ወለባዕልኒ፡ ይዌድስዎ፡ እንበይነ፡ ብዕሉ።
窮人因他的知識而得尊榮，富人因他的財富而得尊榮。
A poor man is glorified for his knowledge; And a rich man is glorified for his riches.
10:31
ዘአመ፡ ይጼነስ፡ ኢየሐዝን፡ አመ፡ ይዴሎ፡ እፎ፡ ይትፌሣሕ።
在貧窮中尚且得尊榮的人，在富足中豈不更甚？在富足中尚且無尊榮的人，在貧窮中豈不更甚？
But he that is glorified in poverty, how much more in riches? And he that is inglorious in riches, how much more in poverty?
