And he turned back and rebuilt the high places which Ezekias his father had pulled down, and he set up pillars to the Baalim, and he made sacred groves, and he bowed down to all the host of heaven and served them.
And he himself passed his children through fire in Gai-banai-ennom, and he practiced divination and augury and sorcery, and he appointed ventriloquists and enchanters. He multiplied doing what was evil before the Lord, to provoke him to anger.
And he set the carved image and the cast image, the likeness which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to Dauid and to Salomon his son: In this house and in Ierousalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my name forever.
And I will not again cause the foot of Israel to be moved from the land which I gave to their fathers—only if they take care to do all that I commanded them, according to all the law and the ordinances and the judgments given by the hand of Moyses.
And Manasses led Ioudas and those dwelling in Ierousalem astray, to do what was evil beyond all the nations which the Lord removed from before the sons of Israel.
And the Lord brought upon them the commanders of the army of the king of Assour, and they seized Manasse in bonds, and they bound him in fetters and brought him to Babylon.
And he prayed to him, and he listened to him and heard his cry, and he brought him back to Ierousalem to his kingdom; and Manasses knew that the Lord, he is God.
And after this he built a wall outside the city of Dauid, from the southwest along Gion in the wadi, and as one goes out the gate all around, and as far as Ophla; and he raised it very high. And he set commanders of the army in all the fortified cities in Ioudas.
And he removed the foreign gods and the carved image from the house of the Lord, and all the altars which he had built on the mountain of the house of the Lord and in Ierousalem and outside the city.
And he restored the altar of the Lord and sacrificed on it a sacrifice of deliverance and of praise, and he told Ioudas to serve the Lord, the God of Israel.

只是百姓仍在邱壇上,不過是歸給耶和華他們的神。
Only, the people were still on the high places; only, it was to the Lord their God.
And the rest of the words of Manasse and his prayer to God and the words of the seers who spoke to him in the name of the Lord God of Israel—behold, they are in the words of
his prayer, and how he listened to him, and all his sins and his apostasies, and the places on which he built the high places and set up sacred groves and carved images there before he turned back—behold, they are written in the words of the seers.
And he did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, as Manasses his father had done; and to all the idols which Manasses his father had made Amon sacrificed, and he served them.
