27:1
Sed Constantius Imperator, dum Juliano (quem Caesarem apud Gallias reliquerat) dignationem sibi Augusti sponte praesumenti, armis ire obviam parat, vicesimo et quarto post occasum patris imperii sui anno, in oppido Ciliciae Mopsocrenis diem defunctus est.
But the Emperor Constantius, while he was preparing to go in arms to meet Julian (whom he had left as Caesar in Gaul) who of his own accord was presuming to himself the dignity of Augustus, died in the town of Mopsucrenae in Cilicia, in the twenty-fourth year of his reign after the death of his father.
