3:1

Πᾶσα δόξα καὶ πλατυσμὸς ἐδόθη ὑμῖν, καὶ ἐπετελέσθη τὸ γεγραμμένον: Ἔφαγεν καὶ ἔπιεν, καὶ ἐπλατύνθη, καὶ ἐπαχύνθη, καὶ ἀπελάκτισεν ὁ ἠγαπημένος

All glory and enlargement were given to you, and that which is written was fulfilled: "The beloved ate and drank, and grew large and fat, and kicked."

一切榮耀和興旺都賜給了你們，那經上所記的話便應驗了：「那蒙愛的吃了喝了，便發胖肥壯，就踢跳起來。」

3:2

ἐκ τούτου ζῆλος καὶ φθόνος, καὶ ἔρις, καὶ στάσις, διωγμὸς καὶ ἀκαταστασία, πόλεμος καὶ αἰχμαλωσία

From this came jealousy and envy, strife and faction, persecution and disorder, war and captivity.

由此就生出嫉妒與羨慕、爭競與紛爭、逼迫與混亂、戰爭與擄掠。

3:3

οὕτως ἐπηγέρθησαν οἱ ἄτιμοι ἐπὶ τοὺς ἐντίμους, οἱ ἄδοξοι ἐπὶ τοὺς ἐνδόξους, οἱ ἄφρονες ἐπὶ τοὺς φρονίμους, οἱ νέοι ἐπὶ τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους

So the dishonorable rose up against the honorable, the inglorious against the glorious, the foolish against the prudent, the young against the elders.

於是卑賤的起來攻擊尊貴的，無名的攻擊有名的，愚昧的攻擊明智的，年少的攻擊年長的。

3:4

διὰ τοῦτο πόρρω ἄπεστιν ἡ δικαιοσύνη καὶ εἰρήνη, ἐν τῷ ἀπολιπεῖν ἕκαστον τὸν φόβον τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ἐν τῇ πίστει αὐτοῦ ἀμβλυωπῆσαι, μηδὲ ἐν τοῖς νομίμοις τῶν προσταγμάτων αὐτοῦ πορεύεσθαι, μηδὲ πολιτεύεσθαι κατὰ τὸ καθῆκον τῷ Χριστῷ, ἀλλὰ ἕκαστον βαδίζειν κατὰ τὰς ἐπιθυμίας τῆς καρδίας αὐτοῦ τῆς πονηρᾶς, ζῆλον ἄδικον καὶ ἀσεβῆ ἀνειληφότας, δἰ οὖ καὶ θάνατος εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὸν κόσμον

For this reason righteousness and peace are far removed, while each forsakes the fear of God and grows dim-sighted in faith toward Him, neither walking in the ordinances of His commandments nor living as is fitting in Christ, but each going after the lusts of his evil heart, having taken up unrighteous and impious jealousy, through which also death entered into the world.

因此公義與平安遠離了，各人離棄了敬畏神的心，在祂的信仰上昏昧不明，既不遵行祂誡命的律例，也不按合宜於基督的樣式生活，反倒各人隨從自己邪惡心中的私慾，懷著不義不敬的嫉妒；死也是藉著這嫉妒進入世界的。
