34:1

Ὁ ἀγαθὸς ἐργάτης μετὰ παρρησίας λαμβάνει τὸν ἄρτον τοῦ ἔργου αὐτοῦ, ὁ νωθρὸς καὶ παρειμένος οὐκ ἀντοφθαλμεῖ τῷ ἐργοπαρέκτῃ αὐτοῦ

The good workman receives the bread of his labor with boldness, but the slothful and careless one dares not look his employer in the face.

勤勞的工人坦然無懼地領取他工作的口糧，懶惰怠慢的卻不敢正視他的雇主。

34:2

δέον οὖν ἐστὶν προθύμους ἡμᾶς εἶναι εἰς ἀγαθοποιΐαν: ἐξ αὐτοῦ γάρ ἐστιν τὰ πάντα

It is fitting, then, that we be eager for well-doing; for from Him are all things.

所以我們在行善上殷勤是合宜的；因為萬有都是從祂而來。

34:3

προλέγει γὰρ ἡμῖν: Ἰδοὺ ὁ κύριος, καὶ ὁ μισθὸς αὐτοῦ πρὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ, ἀποδοῦναι ἑκάστῳ κατὰ τὸ ἔργον αὐτοῦ

For He warns us beforehand: "Behold, the Lord, and His reward is before His face, to render to each according to his work."

因為祂預先警告我們：「看哪，主來，賞罰在祂面前，要照各人所行的報應各人。」

34:4

προτρέπεται οὖν ἡμᾶς πιστεύοντας ἐξ ὅλης τῆς καρδίας ἐπ αὐτῷ, μὴ ἀργοὺς μηδὲ παρειμένους εἶναι ἐπὶ πᾶν ἔργον ἀγαθόν

He exhorts us, therefore, to believe on Him with our whole heart, and not to be idle or careless in every good work.

所以祂勸勉我們要全心信靠祂，在各樣的善工上不可懶惰怠慢。

34:5

τὸ καύχημα ἡμῶν καὶ ἡ παρρησία ἔστω ἐν αὐτῷ: ὑποτασσώμεθα τῷ θελήματι αὐτοῦ: κατανοήσωμεν τὸ πᾶν πλῆθος τῶν ἀγγέλων αὐτοῦ, πῶς τῷ θελήματι αὐτοῦ λειτουργοῦσιν παρεστῶτες

Let our boasting and our confidence be in Him; let us submit to His will; let us consider the whole multitude of His angels, how they stand by and minister to His will.

願我們的誇耀和坦然無懼都在於祂；我們要順服祂的旨意；讓我們思想祂全體眾天使，看他們怎樣侍立、服事祂的旨意。

34:6

λέγει γὰρ ἡ γραφή: Μύριαι μυριάδες παρειστήκεισαν αὐτῷ, καὶ χίλιαι χιλιάδες ἐλειτούργουν αὐτῷ, καὶ ἐκέκραγον, Ἅγιος, ἅγιος, ἅγιος κύριος σαβαώθ, πλήρης πᾶσα ἡ κτίσις τῆς δόξης αὐτοῦ

For the Scripture says: "Ten thousand times ten thousand stood by Him, and thousands of thousands ministered to Him, and they cried out: Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole creation is full of His glory."

因為經上說：「事奉祂的有千千，在祂面前侍立的有萬萬，他們呼喊說：聖哉、聖哉、聖哉，萬軍之主；全地滿了祂的榮耀。」

34:7

καὶ ἡμεῖς, οὖν, ἐν ὁμονοίᾳ ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ συναχθέντες τῇ συνειδήσει, ὡς ἐξ ἑνὸς στόματος βοήσωμεν πρὸς αὐτὸν ἐκτενῶς εἰς τὸ μετόχους ἡμᾶς γενέσθαι τῶν μεγάλων καὶ ἐνδόξων ἐπαγγελιῶν αὐτοῦ

And we also, then, being gathered together in concord with one accord, let us cry out to Him earnestly as with one mouth, that we may become partakers of His great and glorious promises.

所以我們也要和睦同心，一心一意地聚集在一處，如同一口同聲地向祂懇切呼求，好叫我們得有分於祂偉大榮耀的應許。

34:8

λέγει γάρ: Ὀφθαλμὸς οὐκ εἶδεν, καὶ οὕς οὐκ ἤκουσεν, καὶ ἐπὶ καρδίαν ἀνθρώπου οὐκ ἀνέβη, ὅσα ἡτοίμασεν κύριος τοῖς ὑπομένουσιν αὐτόν

For He says: "Eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, and it has not entered into the heart of man, the things which the Lord has prepared for those who wait for Him."

因為祂說：「神為等候祂的人所豫備的，是眼睛未曾看見，耳朵未曾聽見，人心也未曾想到的。」
