Ὁ ἔχων ἀγάπην ἐν Χριστῷ ποιησάτω τὰ τοῦ Χριστοῦ παραγγέλματα
Let him who has love in Christ keep the commandments of Christ.
凡在基督裡有愛的，就讓他遵守基督的命令。
49:2
τὸν δεσμὸν τῆς ἀγάπης τοῦ θεοῦ τίς δύναται ἐξηγήσασθαι
Who is able to declare the bond of the love of God?
神之愛的繫帶，誰能述說呢？
49:3
τὸ μεγαλεῖον τῆς καλλονῆς αὐτοῦ τίς ἀρκετὸς ἐξειπεῖν
Who is sufficient to tell the greatness of its beauty?
祂之美的偉大，誰能說盡呢？
49:4
τὸ ὕψος , εἰς ὃ ἀνάγει ἡ ἀγάπη , ἀνεκδιήγητόν ἐστιν
The height to which love leads up is beyond all telling.
愛所引人到達的高處，是無法述盡的。
49:5
ἀγάπη κολλᾷ ἡμᾶς τῷ θεῷ , ἀγάπη καλύπτει πλῆθος ἁμαρτιῶν , ἀγάπη πάντα ἀνέχεται , πάντα μακροθυμεῖ : οὐδὲν βάναυσον ἐν ἀγάπῃ , οὐδὲν ὑπερήφανον : ἀγάπη σχίσμα οὐκ ἔχει , ἀγάπη οὐ στασιάζει , ἀγάπη πάντα ποιεῖ ἐν ὁμονοίᾳ : ἐν τῇ ἀγάπῃ ἐτελειώθησαν πάντες οἱ ἐκλεκτοὶ τοῦ θεοῦ , δίχα ἀγάπης οὐδὲν εὐάρεστόν ἐστιν τῷ θεῷ
Love joins us to God; love covers a multitude of sins; love bears all things, is long-suffering in all things. There is nothing base in love, nothing arrogant; love has no schism, love does not rebel, love does all things in concord. In love all the elect of God were made perfect; without love nothing is well-pleasing to God.
愛使我們與神聯合；愛遮蓋許多的罪；愛凡事包容，凡事忍耐。愛裡沒有卑鄙，沒有驕傲；愛沒有分裂，愛不結黨紛爭，愛凡事都在同心合意中而行。神一切的選民都是在愛裡得以完全的；離了愛，沒有甚麼能蒙神喜悅。
49:6
ἐν ἀγάπῃ προσελάβετο ἡμᾶς ὁ δεσπότης : διὰ τὴν ἀγάπην , ἣν ἔσχεν πρὸς ἡμᾶς , τὸ αἷμα αὐτοῦ ἔδωκεν ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦς Χριστὸς ὁ κύριος ἡμῶν ἐν θελήματι θεοῦ , καὶ τὴν σάρκα ὑπὲρ τῆς σαρκὸς ἡμῶν καὶ τὴν ψυχὴν ὑπὲρ τῶν ψυχῶν ἡμῶν
In love the Master received us; for the love which he had toward us, Jesus Christ our Lord gave his blood for us by the will of God, and his flesh for our flesh, and his life for our lives.
主人在愛裡接納了我們；因祂向我們所存的愛，我們的主耶穌基督照神的旨意，為我們捨了祂的血，為我們的肉身捨了祂的肉身，為我們的性命捨了祂的性命。
