For from him came the priests and all the Levites who minister at the altar of God; from him came the Lord Jesus according to the flesh; from him came kings and rulers and leaders according to the line of Judah; and the rest of his tribes are in no small glory, since God promised, "Your seed shall be as the stars of heaven."
All of them, then, were glorified and magnified, not through themselves, nor through their works, nor through the righteous deeds that they wrought, but through His will.
And we also, being called through His will in Christ Jesus, are not justified through ourselves, nor through our own wisdom or understanding or godliness, nor through works that we have wrought in holiness of heart, but through faith, by which the Almighty God has justified all men from the beginning; to whom be glory unto the ages of ages.
