125:1
Canticum graduum. Qui confidunt in Domino, sicut mons Sion : non commovebitur in aeternum, qui habitat
Those who trust in Yahweh are as Mount Zion, which can’t be moved, but remains forever.
倚靠耶和華的人 好像錫安山,永不動搖。
125:2
in Jerusalem. Montes in circuitu ejus ; et Dominus in circuitu populi sui, ex hoc nunc et usque in saeculum.
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Yahweh surrounds his people from this time forward and forever more.
眾山怎樣圍繞耶路撒冷, 耶和華也照樣圍繞他的百姓, 從今時直到永遠。
125:3
Quia non relinquet Dominus virgam peccatorum super sortem justorum : ut non extendant justi ad iniquitatem manus suas,
For the scepter of wickedness won’t remain over the allotment of the righteous, so that the righteous won’t use their hands to do evil.
惡人的杖不常落在義人的分上, 免得義人伸手作惡。
125:4
benefac, Domine, bonis, et rectis corde.
Do good, Yahweh, to those who are good, to those who are upright in their hearts.
耶和華啊,求你善待那些為善 和心裏正直的人。
125:5
Declinantes autem in obligationes, adducet Dominus cum operantibus iniquitatem. Pax super Israël !
But as for those who turn away to their crooked ways, Yahweh will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be on Israel.
至於那偏行彎曲道路的人, 耶和華必使他和作惡的人一同出去受刑。 願平安歸於以色列!
