Notus in Judaea Deus ; in Israël magnum nomen ejus .
In Judah, God is known. His name is great in Israel.

Et factus est in pace locus ejus , et habitatio ejus in Sion .
His tabernacle is also in Salem. His dwelling place in Zion.

Glorious are you, and excellent, more than mountains of game.

Valiant men lie plundered, they have slept their last sleep. None of the men of war can lift their hands.

At your rebuke, God of Jacob, both chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

Tu terribilis es ; et quis resistet tibi ? ex tunc ira tua .
You, even you, are to be feared. Who can stand in your sight when you are angry?
惟獨你是可畏的！ 你怒氣一發，誰能在你面前站得住呢？

De caelo auditum fecisti judicium : terra tremuit et quievit
You pronounced judgment from heaven. The earth feared, and was silent,

cum exsurgeret in judicium Deus , ut salvos faceret omnes mansuetos terrae .
when God arose to judgment, to save all the afflicted ones of the earth. Selah.

Quoniam cogitatio hominis confitebitur tibi , et reliquiae cogitationis diem festum agent tibi .
Surely the wrath of man praises you. The survivors of your wrath are restrained.
人的忿怒要成全你的榮美； 人的餘怒，你要禁止。

Vovete et reddite Domino Deo vestro , omnes qui in circuitu ejus affertis munera : terribili ,
Make vows to Yahweh your God, and fulfill them! Let all of his neighbors bring presents to him who is to be feared.
你們許願，當向耶和華－你們的上帝還願； 在他四面的人都當拿貢物獻給那可畏的主。

et ei qui aufert spiritum principum : terribili apud reges terrae .
He will cut off the spirit of princes. He is feared by the kings of the earth.
