37:1
Psalmus ipsi David. Noli aemulari in malignantibus, neque zelaveris facientes iniquitatem :
Don’t fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness.
不要為作惡的心懷不平， 也不要向那行不義的生出嫉妒。
37:2
quoniam tamquam foenum velociter arescent, et quemadmodum olera herbarum cito decident.
For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither like the green herb.
因為他們如草快被割下， 又如青菜快要枯乾。
37:3
Spera in Domino, et fac bonitatem ; et inhabita terram, et pasceris in divitiis ejus.
Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture.
你當倚靠耶和華而行善， 住在地上，以他的信實為糧；
37:4
Delectare in Domino, et dabit tibi petitiones cordis tui.
Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
又要以耶和華為樂， 他就將你心裏所求的賜給你。
37:5
Revela Domino viam tuam, et spera in eo, et ipse faciet.
Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:
當將你的事交託耶和華， 並倚靠他，他就必成全。
37:6
Et educet quasi lumen justitiam tuam, et judicium tuum tamquam meridiem.
he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun.
他要使你的公義如光發出， 使你的公平明如正午。
37:7
Subditus esto Domino, et ora eum. Noli aemulari in eo qui prosperatur in via sua ; in homine faciente injustitias.
Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen.
你當默然倚靠耶和華，耐性等候他； 不要因那道路通達的和那惡謀成就的心懷不平。
37:8
Desine ab ira, et derelinque furorem ; noli aemulari ut maligneris.
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don’t fret; it leads only to evildoing.
當止住怒氣，離棄忿怒； 不要心懷不平，以致作惡。
37:9
Quoniam qui malignantur exterminabuntur ; sustinentes autem Dominum, ipsi haereditabunt terram.
For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for Yahweh shall inherit the land.
因為作惡的必被剪除； 惟有等候耶和華的必承受地土。
37:10
Et adhuc pusillum, et non erit peccator ; et quaeres locum ejus, et non invenies.
For yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more. Yes, though you look for his place, he isn’t there.
還有片時，惡人要歸於無有； 你就是細察他的住處也要歸於無有。
37:11
Mansueti autem haereditabunt terram, et delectabuntur in multitudine pacis.
But the humble shall inherit the land, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
但謙卑人必承受地土， 以豐盛的平安為樂。
37:12
Observabit peccator justum, et stridebit super eum dentibus suis.
The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth.
惡人設謀害義人， 又向他咬牙。
37:13
Dominus autem irridebit eum, quoniam prospicit quod veniet dies ejus.
The Lord will laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming.
主要笑他， 因見他受罰的日子將要來到。
37:14
Gladium evaginaverunt peccatores ; intenderunt arcum suum : ut dejiciant pauperem et inopem, ut trucident rectos corde.
The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, to kill those who are upright on the path.
惡人已經弓上弦，刀出鞘， 要打倒困苦窮乏的人， 要殺害行動正直的人。
37:15
Gladius eorum intret in corda ipsorum, et arcus eorum confringatur.
Their sword shall enter into their own heart. Their bows shall be broken.
他們的刀必刺入自己的心； 他們的弓必被折斷。
37:16
Melius est modicum justo, super divitias peccatorum multas :
Better is a little that the righteous has, than the abundance of many wicked.
一個義人所有的雖少， 強過許多惡人的富餘。
37:17
quoniam brachia peccatorum conterentur : confirmat autem justos Dominus.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but Yahweh upholds the righteous.
因為惡人的膀臂必被折斷； 但耶和華是扶持義人。
37:18
Novit Dominus dies immaculatorum, et haereditas eorum in aeternum erit.
Yahweh knows the days of the perfect. Their inheritance shall be forever.
耶和華知道完全人的日子； 他們的產業要存到永遠。
37:19
Non confundentur in tempore malo, et in diebus famis saturabuntur :
They shall not be disappointed in the time of evil. In the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
他們在急難的時候不致羞愧， 在饑荒的日子必得飽足。
37:20
quia peccatores peribunt. Inimici vero Domini mox ut honorificati fuerint et exaltati, deficientes quemadmodum fumus deficient.
But the wicked shall perish. The enemies of Yahweh shall be like the beauty of the fields. They will vanish— vanish like smoke.
惡人卻要滅亡。 耶和華的仇敵要像羊羔的脂油 ； 他們要消滅，要如煙消滅。
37:21
Mutuabitur peccator, et non solvet ; justus autem miseretur et tribuet :
The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously.
惡人借貸而不償還； 義人卻恩待人，並且施捨。
37:22
quia benedicentes ei haereditabunt terram ; maledicentes autem ei disperibunt.
For such as are blessed by him shall inherit the land. Those who are cursed by him shall be cut off.
蒙耶和華賜福的必承受地土； 被他咒詛的必被剪除。
37:23
Apud Dominum gressus hominis dirigentur, et viam ejus volet.
A man’s steps are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way.
義人的腳步被耶和華立定； 他的道路，耶和華也喜愛。
37:24
Cum ceciderit, non collidetur, quia Dominus supponit manum suam.
Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for Yahweh holds him up with his hand.
他雖失腳也不致全身仆倒， 因為耶和華用手攙扶他 。
37:25
Junior fui, etenim senui ; et non vidi justum derelictum, nec semen ejus quaerens panem.
I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.
我從前年幼，現在年老， 卻未見過義人被棄， 也未見過他的後裔討飯。
37:26
Tota die miseretur et commodat ; et semen illius in benedictione erit.
All day long he deals graciously, and lends. His offspring is blessed.
他終日恩待人，借給人； 他的後裔也蒙福！
37:27
Declina a malo, et fac bonum, et inhabita in saeculum saeculi :
Depart from evil, and do good. Live securely forever.
你當離惡行善， 就可永遠安居。
37:28
quia Dominus amat judicium, et non derelinquet sanctos suos : in aeternum conservabuntur. Injusti punientur, et semen impiorum peribit.
For Yahweh loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.
因為，耶和華喜愛公平， 不撇棄他的聖民； 他們永蒙保佑， 但惡人的後裔必被剪除。
37:29
Justi autem haereditabunt terram, et inhabitabunt in saeculum saeculi super eam.
The righteous shall inherit the land, and live in it forever.
義人必承受地土， 永居其上。
37:30
Os justi meditabitur sapientiam, et lingua ejus loquetur judicium.
The mouth of the righteous talks of wisdom. His tongue speaks justice.
義人的口談論智慧； 他的舌頭講說公平。
37:31
Lex Dei ejus in corde ipsius, et non supplantabuntur gressus ejus.
The law of his God is in his heart. None of his steps shall slide.
上帝的律法在他心裏； 他的腳總不滑跌。
37:32
Considerat peccator justum, et quaerit mortificare eum.
The wicked watch the righteous, and seek to kill him.
惡人窺探義人， 想要殺他。
37:33
Dominus autem non derelinquet eum in manibus ejus, nec damnabit eum cum judicabitur illi.
Yahweh will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
耶和華必不撇他在惡人手中； 當審判的時候，也不定他的罪。
37:34
Exspecta Dominum, et custodi viam ejus, et exaltabit te ut haereditate capias terram : cum perierint peccatores, videbis.
Wait for Yahweh, and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land. When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.
你當等候耶和華，遵守他的道， 他就抬舉你，使你承受地土； 惡人被剪除的時候，你必看見。
37:35
Vidi impium superexaltatum, et elevatum sicut cedros Libani :
I have seen the wicked in great power, spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil.
我見過惡人大有勢力， 好像一棵青翠樹在本土生發。
37:36
et transivi, et ecce non erat ; et quaesivi eum, et non est inventus locus ejus.
But he passed away, and behold, he was not. Yes, I sought him, but he could not be found.
有人從那裏經過，不料，他沒有了； 我也尋找他，卻尋不着。
37:37
Custodi innocentiam, et vide aequitatem, quoniam sunt reliquiae homini pacifico.
Mark the perfect man, and see the upright, for there is a future for the man of peace.
你要細察那完全人，觀看那正直人， 因為和平人有好結局。
37:38
Injusti autem disperibunt simul ; reliquiae impiorum interibunt.
As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together. The future of the wicked shall be cut off.
至於犯法的人，必一同滅絕； 惡人終必剪除。
37:39
Salus autem justorum a Domino ; et protector eorum in tempore tribulationis.
But the salvation of the righteous is from Yahweh. He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.
但義人得救是由於耶和華； 他在患難時作他們的營寨。
37:40
Et adjuvabit eos Dominus, et liberabit eos ; et eruet eos a peccatoribus, et salvabit eos, quia speraverunt in eo.
Yahweh helps them and rescues them. He rescues them from the wicked and saves them, because they have taken refuge in him.
耶和華幫助他們，解救他們； 他解救他們脫離惡人，把他們救出來， 因為他們投靠他。
