44:1
In finem. Filiis Core ad intellectum.
We have heard with our ears, God; our fathers have told us what work you did in their days, in the days of old.
上帝啊，你在古時， 我們列祖的日子所行的事， 我們親耳聽見了； 我們的列祖也給我們述說過。
44:2
Deus, auribus nostris audivimus, patres nostri annuntiaverunt nobis, opus quod operatus es in diebus eorum, et in diebus antiquis.
You drove out the nations with your hand, but you planted them. You afflicted the peoples, but you spread them abroad.
你曾用手趕出外邦人， 卻栽培了我們列祖； 你苦待列邦， 卻叫我們列祖發達。
44:3
Manus tua gentes disperdidit, et plantasti eos ; afflixisti populos, et expulisti eos.
For they didn’t get the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them; but your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, because you were favorable to them.
因為他們不是靠自己的刀劍得地土， 也不是靠自己的膀臂得勝， 乃是靠你的右手、你的膀臂， 和你臉上的亮光， 因為你喜悅他們。
44:4
Nec enim in gladio suo possederunt terram, et brachium eorum non salvavit eos : sed dextera tua et brachium tuum, et illuminatio vultus tui, quoniam complacuisti in eis.
God, you are my King. Command victories for Jacob!
上帝啊，你是我的王； 求你出令使雅各得勝。
44:5
Tu es ipse rex meus et Deus meus, qui mandas salutes Jacob.
Through you, we will push down our adversaries. Through your name, we will tread down those who rise up against us.
我們靠你要推倒我們的敵人， 靠你的名要踐踏那起來攻擊我們的人。
44:6
In te inimicos nostros ventilabimus cornu, et in nomine tuo spernemus insurgentes in nobis.
For I will not trust in my bow, neither will my sword save me.
因為，我必不靠我的弓； 我的刀也不能使我得勝。
44:7
Non enim in arcu meo sperabo, et gladius meus non salvabit me :
But you have saved us from our adversaries, and have shamed those who hate us.
惟你救了我們脫離敵人， 使恨我們的人羞愧。
44:8
salvasti enim nos de affligentibus nos, et odientes nos confudisti.
In God we have made our boast all day long. We will give thanks to your name forever. Selah.
我們終日因上帝誇耀， 還要永遠稱謝你的名。（細拉）
44:9
In Deo laudabimur tota die, et in nomine tuo confitebimur in saeculum.
But now you rejected us, and brought us to dishonor, and don’t go out with our armies.
但如今你丟棄了我們，使我們受辱， 不和我們的軍兵同去。
44:10
Nunc autem repulisti et confudisti nos, et non egredieris, Deus, in virtutibus nostris.
You make us turn back from the adversary. Those who hate us take plunder for themselves.
你使我們向敵人轉身退後； 那恨我們的人任意搶奪。
44:11
Avertisti nos retrorsum post inimicos nostros, et qui oderunt nos diripiebant sibi.
You have made us like sheep for food, and have scattered us among the nations.
你使我們當作快要被吃的羊， 把我們分散在列邦中。
44:12
Dedisti nos tamquam oves escarum, et in gentibus dispersisti nos.
You sell your people for nothing, and have gained nothing from their sale.
你賣了你的子民也不賺利， 所得的價值並不加添你的資財。
44:13
Vendidisti populum tuum sine pretio, et non fuit multitudo in commutationibus eorum.
You make us a reproach to our neighbors, a scoffing and a derision to those who are around us.
你使我們受鄰國的羞辱， 被四圍的人嗤笑譏刺。
44:14
Posuisti nos opprobrium vicinis nostris ; subsannationem et derisum his qui sunt in circuitu nostro.
You make us a byword among the nations, a shaking of the head among the peoples.
你使我們在列邦中作了笑談， 使眾民向我們搖頭。
44:15
Posuisti nos in similitudinem gentibus ; commotionem capitis in populis.
All day long my dishonor is before me, and shame covers my face,
我的凌辱終日在我面前， 我臉上的羞愧將我遮蔽，
44:16
Tota die verecundia mea contra me est, et confusio faciei meae cooperuit me :
at the taunt of one who reproaches and verbally abuses, because of the enemy and the avenger.
都因那辱罵毀謗人的聲音， 又因仇敵和報仇人的緣故。
44:17
a voce exprobrantis et obloquentis, a facie inimici et persequentis.
All this has come on us, yet we haven’t forgotten you. We haven’t been false to your covenant.
這都臨到我們身上， 我們卻沒有忘記你， 也沒有違背你的約。
44:18
Haec omnia venerunt super nos ; nec obliti sumus te, et inique non egimus in testamento tuo.
Our heart has not turned back, neither have our steps strayed from your path,
我們的心沒有退後； 我們的腳也沒有偏離你的路。
44:19
Et non recessit retro cor nostrum ; et declinasti semitas nostras a via tua :
though you have crushed us in the haunt of jackals, and covered us with the shadow of death.
你在野狗之處壓傷我們， 用死蔭遮蔽我們。
44:20
quoniam humiliasti nos in loco afflictionis, et cooperuit nos umbra mortis.
If we have forgotten the name of our God, or spread out our hands to a strange god,
倘若我們忘了上帝的名， 或向別神舉手，
44:21
Si obliti sumus nomen Dei nostri, et si expandimus manus nostras ad deum alienum,
won’t God search this out? For he knows the secrets of the heart.
上帝豈不鑒察這事嗎？ 因為他曉得人心裏的隱秘。
44:22
nonne Deus requiret ista ? ipse enim novit abscondita cordis. Quoniam propter te mortificamur tota die ; aestimati sumus sicut oves occisionis.
Yes, for your sake we are killed all day long. We are regarded as sheep for the slaughter.
我們為你的緣故終日被殺； 人看我們如將宰的羊。
44:23
Exsurge ; quare obdormis, Domine ? exsurge, et ne repellas in finem.
Wake up! Why do you sleep, Lord? Arise! Don’t reject us forever.
主啊，求你睡醒，為何儘睡呢？ 求你興起，不要永遠丟棄我們！
44:24
Quare faciem tuam avertis ? oblivisceris inopiae nostrae et tribulationis nostrae ?
Why do you hide your face, and forget our affliction and our oppression?
你為何掩面， 不顧我們所遭的苦難和所受的欺壓？
44:25
Quoniam humiliata est in pulvere anima nostra ; conglutinatus est in terra venter noster.
For our soul is bowed down to the dust. Our body clings to the earth.
我們的性命伏於塵土； 我們的肚腹緊貼地面。
44:26
Exsurge, Domine, adjuva nos, et redime nos propter nomen tuum.
Rise up to help us. Redeem us for your loving kindness’ sake.
求你起來幫助我們！ 憑你的慈愛救贖我們！
