129:1

Canticum graduum. Saepe expugnaverunt me a juventute mea, dicat nunc Israël ;

Many times they have afflicted me from my youth up. Let Israel now say:

以色列當說：從我幼年以來，敵人屢次苦害我，

129:2

saepe expugnaverunt me a juventute mea : etenim non potuerunt mihi.

many times they have afflicted me from my youth up, yet they have not prevailed against me.

從我幼年以來，敵人屢次苦害我，卻沒有勝了我。

129:3

Supra dorsum meum fabricaverunt peccatores ; prolongaverunt iniquitatem suam.

The plowers plowed on my back. They made their furrows long.

如同扶犂的在我背上扶犂而耕，耕的犂溝甚長。

129:4

Dominus justus concidit cervices peccatorum.

Yahweh is righteous. He has cut apart the cords of the wicked.

耶和華是公義的；他砍斷了惡人的繩索。

129:5

Confundantur, et convertantur retrorsum omnes qui oderunt Sion.

Let them be disappointed and turned backward, all those who hate Zion.

願恨惡錫安的都蒙羞退後！

129:6

Fiant sicut foenum tectorum, quod priusquam evellatur exaruit :

Let them be as the grass on the housetops, which withers before it grows up,

願他們像房頂上的草，未長成而枯乾，

129:7

de quo non implevit manum suam qui metit, et sinum suum qui manipulos colligit.

with which the reaper doesn’t fill his hand, nor he who binds sheaves, his bosom.

收割的不夠一把，捆禾的也不滿懷。

129:8

Et non dixerunt qui praeteribant : Benedictio Domini super vos. Benediximus vobis in nomine Domini.

Neither do those who go by say, “The blessing of Yahweh be on you. We bless you in Yahweh’s name.”

過路的也不說：願耶和華所賜的福歸與你們！我們奉耶和華的名給你們祝福！
