Canticum graduum . Laetatus sum in his quae dicta sunt mihi : In domum Domini ibimus .
I was glad when they said to me, “Let’s go to Yahweh’s house!”
人對我說：我們往耶和華的殿去， 我就歡喜。

Stantes erant pedes nostri in atriis tuis , Jerusalem .
Our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem!
耶路撒冷啊， 我們的腳站在你的門內。

Jerusalem , quae aedificatur ut civitas , cujus participatio ejus in idipsum .
Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together,
耶路撒冷被建造， 如同連絡整齊的一座城。

Illuc enim ascenderunt tribus , tribus Domini : testimonium Israël , ad confitendum nomini Domini .
where the tribes go up, even Yah’s tribes, according to an ordinance for Israel, to give thanks to Yahweh’s name.
眾支派，就是耶和華的支派，上那裏去， 按以色列的常例 稱讚耶和華的名。

Quia illic sederunt sedes in judicio , sedes super domum David .
For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of David’s house.
因為在那裏設立審判的寶座， 就是大衛家的寶座。

Rogate quae ad pacem sunt Jerusalem , et abundantia diligentibus te .
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper.
你們要為耶路撒冷求平安！ 耶路撒冷啊，愛你的人必然興旺！

Fiat pax in virtute tua , et abundantia in turribus tuis .
Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.
願你城中平安！ 願你宮內興旺！

Propter fratres meos et proximos meos , loquebar pacem de te .
For my brothers’ and companions’ sakes, I will now say, “Peace be within you.”

Propter domum Domini Dei nostri , quaesivi bona tibi .
For the sake of the house of Yahweh our God, I will seek your good.
