122:1

Canticum graduum. Laetatus sum in his quae dicta sunt mihi : In domum Domini ibimus.

I was glad when they said to me, “Let’s go to Yahweh’s house!”

人對我說：我們往耶和華的殿去，我就歡喜。

122:2

Stantes erant pedes nostri in atriis tuis, Jerusalem.

Our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem!

耶路撒冷啊，我們的腳站在你的門內。

122:3

Jerusalem, quae aedificatur ut civitas, cujus participatio ejus in idipsum.

Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together,

耶路撒冷被建造，如同連絡整齊的一座城。

122:4

Illuc enim ascenderunt tribus, tribus Domini : testimonium Israël, ad confitendum nomini Domini.

where the tribes go up, even Yah’s tribes, according to an ordinance for Israel, to give thanks to Yahweh’s name.

眾支派，就是耶和華的支派，上那裏去，按以色列的常例稱讚耶和華的名。

122:5

Quia illic sederunt sedes in judicio, sedes super domum David.

For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of David’s house.

因為在那裏設立審判的寶座，就是大衛家的寶座。

122:6

Rogate quae ad pacem sunt Jerusalem, et abundantia diligentibus te.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper.

你們要為耶路撒冷求平安！耶路撒冷啊，愛你的人必然興旺！

122:7

Fiat pax in virtute tua, et abundantia in turribus tuis.

Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces.

願你城中平安！願你宮內興旺！

122:8

Propter fratres meos et proximos meos, loquebar pacem de te.

For my brothers’ and companions’ sakes, I will now say, “Peace be within you.”

因我弟兄和同伴的緣故，我要說：願平安在你中間！

122:9

Propter domum Domini Dei nostri, quaesivi bona tibi.

For the sake of the house of Yahweh our God, I will seek your good.

因耶和華－我們上帝殿的緣故，我要為你求福！
