33:1
Psalmus David. Exsultate, justi, in Domino ; rectos decet collaudatio.
Rejoice in Yahweh, you righteous! Praise is fitting for the upright.
義人哪，你們應當靠耶和華歡樂； 正直人的讚美是合宜的。
33:2
Confitemini Domino in cithara ; in psalterio decem chordarum psallite illi.
Give thanks to Yahweh with the lyre. Sing praises to him with the harp of ten strings.
你們應當彈琴稱謝耶和華， 用十弦瑟歌頌他。
33:3
Cantate ei canticum novum ; bene psallite ei in vociferatione.
Sing to him a new song. Play skillfully with a shout of joy!
應當向他唱新歌， 彈得巧妙，聲音洪亮。
33:4
Quia rectum est verbum Domini, et omnia opera ejus in fide.
For Yahweh’s word is right. All his work is done in faithfulness.
因為耶和華的言語正直； 凡他所做的盡都誠實。
33:5
Diligit misericordiam et judicium ; misericordia Domini plena est terra.
He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the loving kindness of Yahweh.
他喜愛仁義公平； 遍地滿了耶和華的慈愛。
33:6
Verbo Domini caeli firmati sunt, et spiritu oris ejus omnis virtus eorum.
By Yahweh’s word, the heavens were made: all their army by the breath of his mouth.
諸天藉耶和華的命而造； 萬象藉他口中的氣而成。
33:7
Congregans sicut in utre aquas maris ; ponens in thesauris abyssos.
He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap. He lays up the deeps in storehouses.
他聚集海水如壘， 收藏深洋在庫房。
33:8
Timeat Dominum omnis terra ; ab eo autem commoveantur omnes inhabitantes orbem.
Let all the earth fear Yahweh. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
願全地都敬畏耶和華！ 願世上的居民都懼怕他！
33:9
Quoniam ipse dixit, et facta sunt ; ipse mandavit et creata sunt.
For he spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood firm.
因為他說有，就有， 命立，就立。
33:10
Dominus dissipat consilia gentium ; reprobat autem cogitationes populorum, et reprobat consilia principum.
Yahweh brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.
耶和華使列國的籌算歸於無有， 使眾民的思念無有功效。
33:11
Consilium autem Domini in aeternum manet ; cogitationes cordis ejus in generatione et generationem.
The counsel of Yahweh stands fast forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
耶和華的籌算永遠立定； 他心中的思念萬代常存。
33:12
Beata gens cujus est Dominus Deus ejus ; populus quem elegit in haereditatem sibi.
Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.
以耶和華為上帝的，那國是有福的！ 他所揀選為自己產業的，那民是有福的！
33:13
De caelo respexit Dominus ; vidit omnes filios hominum.
Yahweh looks from heaven. He sees all the sons of men.
耶和華從天上觀看； 他看見一切的世人。
33:14
De praeparato habitaculo suo respexit super omnes qui habitant terram :
From the place of his habitation he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth,
從他的居所往外察看地上一切的居民－
33:15
qui finxit sigillatim corda eorum ; qui intelligit omnia opera eorum.
he who fashions all of their hearts; and he considers all of their works.
他是那造成他們眾人心的， 留意他們一切作為的。
33:16
Non salvatur rex per multam virtutem, et gigas non salvabitur in multitudine virtutis suae.
There is no king saved by the multitude of an army. A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
君王不能因兵多得勝； 勇士不能因力大得救。
33:17
Fallax equus ad salutem ; in abundantia autem virtutis suae non salvabitur.
A horse is a vain thing for safety, neither does he deliver any by his great power.
靠馬得救是枉然的； 馬也不能因力大救人。
33:18
Ecce oculi Domini super metuentes eum, et in eis qui sperant super misericordia ejus :
Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness,
耶和華的眼目看顧敬畏他的人 和仰望他慈愛的人，
33:19
ut eruat a morte animas eorum, et alat eos in fame.
to deliver their soul from death, to keep them alive in famine.
要救他們的命脫離死亡， 並使他們在饑荒中存活。
33:20
Anima nostra sustinet Dominum, quoniam adjutor et protector noster est.
Our soul has waited for Yahweh. He is our help and our shield.
我們的心向來等候耶和華； 他是我們的幫助，我們的盾牌。
33:21
Quia in eo laetabitur cor nostrum, et in nomine sancto ejus speravimus.
For our heart rejoices in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
我們的心必靠他歡喜， 因為我們向來倚靠他的聖名。
33:22
Fiat misericordia tua, Domine, super nos, quemadmodum speravimus in te.
Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh, since we have hoped in you.
耶和華啊，求你照着我們所仰望你的， 向我們施行慈愛！
