'Let us rejoice, most beloved brethren, on the day of Christ's resurrection; for it is the common joy of all, our common joy, common in full, because when he rose we all rose,' etc. It ends: 'It is therefore not to be wondered at, if toward the Savior those men were so cruel who proved so cruel toward their own descendants.' This and the following sermon, which a Gallic Benedictine monk reported as copied from codex 3814 of the royal library, together make up the entire sermon which, from Muratori, Anecdota, volume IV, we have reprinted in this collection, and it is the first on the solemnity of Easter, column 741. The beginning has been omitted: 'We must exult,' up to the words: 'the antiquity of time consumes.' The rest agree perfectly.
「至親愛的弟兄們，讓我們在基督復活之日歡欣；因為這是眾人共同的喜樂，是我們共同的喜樂，是完全共有的喜樂，因為當祂復活時，我們眾人都復活了」等等。結尾為：「因此不足為奇，那些對救主如此殘忍的人，正是對自己後裔也如此殘忍的人。」此篇與下一篇，是一位高盧本篤會修士報稱從王室圖書館 3814 號抄本抄出的，二者合成一整篇講道，我們已依據穆拉托里《軼文集》第四卷在本文集中重印，即論復活節莊嚴慶節的第一篇，第七四一欄。其起首「我們當歡騰」直到「時光的久遠消磨」等字已被省略。其餘完全吻合。
