It pertains to the chief mystery of our religion that in the paschal festival there be no diversity throughout the whole world. And because divine institution and the tradition of the Fathers has willed this to pertain to our solicitude, we solemnly admonish your Fraternity to recognize that the Lord's Pasch is to be celebrated by us on the tenth day before the Kalends of April; for manifest reasoning has made plain that this is the lawful day of the sacred observance. And of this, through your Charity also, most dear brother, let it be declared to all, so that those who have one confession in the faith may have also one devotion in this festival.
