Manichæi liberos quidem habentes orthodoxos, in eos et solos ab intestato (transmittant: nulli) autem alii viventes aut morientes alienanto (seu per institutionem, seu per legatum, seu per donationem), omnimodo eorum facultatibus ad fiscalem reddituris rationem.
摩尼教徒若確有正統的兒女，可將其財產依無遺囑繼承法傳給這些兒女、且唯獨傳給他們；但無論在生或臨終，都不可將財產轉讓給任何別人（無論藉立繼承人、或遺贈、或贈與），他們的財產無論如何都要交還充作國庫之用。
Manichaeans, if indeed they have orthodox children, may transmit their estate by intestacy to those children and to them alone; but to no other person, whether living or dying, may they alienate it (whether by institution as heir, or by legacy, or by donation), their property being in every way liable to be rendered up to the account of the fisc.
