If anyone, in drawing up a document, shall have confessed himself not to use the privilege of the forum by reason of the prerogative of the priesthood, we decree that it is not lawful for him to come against his own pacts and to deceive the contracting parties, since it is a rule of ancient law: that all have liberty to renounce those things which have been indulged in their favor.
