146:2

ሀሌሉያ ፡ ዘሐጌ ፡ ወዘካርያስ ። ታአኵቶ ፡ ነፍስየ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ። እሴብሖ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ፡ በሕይወትየ ፤ ወእዜምር ፡ ለአምላኪየ ፡ በአምጣነ ፡ ሀለውኩ ።

While I live, I will praise Yahweh. I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist.

我一生要讚美耶和華！我還活的時候要歌頌我的上帝！

146:3

ኢትትአመኑ ፡ በመላእክት ፤ ወኢበእጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ እለ ፡ ኢይክሉ ፡ አድኅኖ ።

Don’t put your trust in princes, in a son of man in whom there is no help.

你們不要倚靠君王，不要倚靠世人；他一點不能幫助。

146:4

ትወፅእ ፡ ነፍሶሙ ፡ ወይገብኡ ፡ ውስተ ፡ መሬቶሙ ፤ ውእተ ፡ አሚረ ፡ ይጠፍእ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ምክሮሙ ።

His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish.

他的氣一斷，就歸回塵土；他所打算的，當日就消滅了。

146:5

ብፁዕ ፡ ብእሲ ፡ ዘአምላከ ፡ ያዕቆብ ፡ ረዳኢሁ ፤ ወትውክልቱኒ ፡ ላዕለ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ አምላኩ ። ዘገብረ ፡ ሰማየ ፡ ወምድረ ፡ ባሕረ ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ ዘውስቴታ ፤

Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God,

以雅各的上帝為幫助、仰望耶和華－他上帝的，這人便為有福！

146:6

ዘየዐቅባ ፡ ለጽድቅ ፡ ለዓለም ። ወይፈትሕ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ ለግፉዓን ፡ ዘይሁቦሙ ፡ ሲሳዮሙ ፡ ለርኁባን ፤

who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps truth forever;

耶和華造天、地、海，和其中的萬物；他守誠實，直到永遠。

146:7

እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይፈትሖሙ ፡ ለሙቁሓን ። እግዚአብሔር ፡ ያነሥኦሙ ፡ ለእለ ፡ ወድቁ ፤

who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. Yahweh frees the prisoners.

他為受屈的伸冤，賜食物與飢餓的。耶和華釋放被囚的；

146:8

እግዚአብሔር ፡ ያጠብቦሙ ፡ ለዕዉራን ፤ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ያፍቅሮሙ ፡ ለጻድቃን ።

Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind. Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Yahweh loves the righteous.

耶和華開了瞎子的眼睛；耶和華扶起被壓下的人。耶和華喜愛義人。

146:9

እግዚአብሔር ፡ የዐቅቦሙ ፡ ለፈላስያን ፡ ወይትወከፎሙ ፡ ለአቤራት ፡ ወለእጓለ ፡ ማውታ ፤ ወያመስን ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ ኃጥኣን ።

Yahweh preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but he turns the way of the wicked upside down.

耶和華保護寄居的，扶持孤兒和寡婦，卻使惡人的道路彎曲。

146:10

ይነግሥ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ለዓለም ፤ አምላክኪ ፡ ጽዮን ፡ ለትውልደ ፡ ትውልድ ።

Yahweh will reign forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise Yah!

耶和華要作王，直到永遠！錫安哪，你的上帝要作王，直到萬代！你們要讚美耶和華！
