4:1

ፍጻሜ ፡ ዘአኩቴት ፤ መዝሙር ፡ ዘዳዊት ። ሶበ ፡ ጸዋዕክዎ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር፡ ሰምዐኒ ፡ ጽድቅየ ፡ ወእምንዳቤየ ፡ አርሐበ ፡ ሊተ ።

Answer me when I call, God of my righteousness. Give me relief from my distress. Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.

顯我為義的上帝啊，我呼籲的時候，求你應允我！我在困苦中，你曾使我寬廣；現在求你憐恤我，聽我的禱告！

4:2

ተሥሀለኒ ፡ ወስምዐኒ ፡ ጸሎትየ ።

You sons of men, how long shall my glory be turned into dishonor? Will you love vanity and seek after falsehood? Selah.

你們這上流人哪，你們將我的尊榮變為羞辱要到幾時呢？你們喜愛虛妄，尋找虛假，要到幾時呢？（細拉）

4:3

ደቂቀ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ እስከ ፡ ማእዜኑ ፡ ታከብዱ ፡ ልብክሙ ፡ ለምንት ፡ ታፈቅሩ ፡ ከንቶ ፡ ወተኀሡ ፡ ሐሰተ ።

But know that Yahweh has set apart for himself him who is godly; Yahweh will hear when I call to him.

你們要知道，耶和華已經分別虔誠人歸他自己；我求告耶和華，他必聽我。

4:4

ኣእምሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ ተሰብሐ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ በጻድቁ ፤ እግዚአብሔር፡ ይሰምዐኒ ፡ ሶበ ፡ ጸራኅኩ ፡ ኀቤሁ ።

Stand in awe, and don’t sin. Search your own heart on your bed, and be still. Selah.

你們應當畏懼，不可犯罪；在床上的時候，要心裏思想，並要肅靜。（細拉）

4:5

ተምዑ ፡ ወኢተአብሱ ፤ ወዘትሔልዩ ፡ በልብክሙ ፡ ውስተ ፡ መስካቢክሙ ፡ ይትዐወቀክሙ ።

Offer the sacrifices of righteousness. Put your trust in Yahweh.

當獻上公義的祭，又當倚靠耶和華。

4:6

ሡዑ ፡ መሥዋዕተ ፡ ጽድቅ ፡ ወተወከሉ ፡ ለእግዚአብሔር ።

Many say, “Who will show us any good?” Yahweh, let the light of your face shine on us.

有許多人說：誰能指示我們甚麼好處？耶和華啊，求你仰起臉來，光照我們。

4:7

ብዙኃን ፡ እለ ፡ ይቤሉ ፡ መኑ ፡ ያርእየነ ፡ ሠናይቶ ፤ ተዐውቀ ፡ በላዕሌነ ፡ ብርሃነ ፡ ገጽከ ፡ እግዚኦ ።

You have put gladness in my heart, more than when their grain and their new wine are increased.

你使我心裏快樂，勝過那豐收五穀新酒的人。

4:8

ወወደይከ ፡ ትፍሥሕተ ፡ ውስተ ፡ ልብነ ፤ እምፍሬ ፡ ስርናይ ፡ ወወይን ፡ ወቅብእ ፡ በዝኃ ። በሰላም ፡ ቦቱ ፡ እሰክብ ፡ ወእነውም ። እስመ ፡ እንተ ፡ እግዚኦ ፡ በተስፋ ፡ ባሕቲትከ ፡ ኣኅደርከኒ ።

In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you alone, Yahweh, make me live in safety.

我必安然躺下睡覺，因為獨有你－耶和華使我安然居住。
