Psalms 124

Greek original · 8 verses · some words can be tapped for a gloss

← ch. 123ch. 125 →
📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
⚠️ Psalms use Masoretic (Hebrew) numbering, which differs from printed Vulgate and Septuagint editions: Ps 124 here = Ps 123 in print. Convert before citing a printed edition.
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

124:1
ᾠδὴ τῶν ἀναβαθμῶν εἰ μὴ ὅτι κύριος ἦν ἐν ἡμῖν εἰπάτω δὴ Ισραηλ
A song of the ascents. If the Lord had not been among us — let Israel now say —
上行之歌。以色列要說:若不是主在我們中間,
124:2
εἰ μὴ ὅτι κύριος ἦν ἐν ἡμῖν ἐν τῷ ἐπαναστῆναι ἀνθρώπους ἐφ’ ἡμᾶς
if the Lord had not been among us when men rose up against us,
若不是主在我們中間,當人起來攻擊我們的時候,
124:3
ἄρα ζῶντας ἂν κατέπιον ἡμᾶς ἐν τῷ ὀργισθῆναι τὸν θυμὸν αὐτῶν ἐφ’ ἡμᾶς
then they would have swallowed us alive, when their wrath was kindled against us.
他們向我們發怒的時候,就把我們活活吞下了。
124:4
ἄρα τὸ ὕδωρ κατεπόντισεν ἡμᾶς χείμαρρον διῆλθεν ἡ ψυχὴ ἡμῶν
then the water would have drowned us; our soul passed through a torrent.
那時,水必淹沒我們,我們的魂必經過急流。
124:5
ἄρα διῆλθεν ἡ ψυχὴ ἡμῶν τὸ ὕδωρ τὸ ἀνυπόστατον
then our soul would have passed through the overwhelming water.
那時,我們的魂必經過那無可抵擋的水。
124:6
εὐλογητὸς κύριος ὃς οὐκ ἔδωκεν ἡμᾶς εἰς θήραν τοῖς ὀδοῦσιν αὐτῶν
Blessed be the Lord, who did not give us as prey to their teeth.
主是應當稱頌的!他沒有把我們交給他們的牙齒作獵物。
124:7
ἡ ψυχὴ ἡμῶν ὡς στρουθίον ἐρρύσθη ἐκ τῆς παγίδος τῶν θηρευόντων ἡ παγὶς συνετρίβη καὶ ἡμεῖς ἐρρύσθημεν
Our soul was delivered like a sparrow from the snare of the fowlers; the snare was broken and we were delivered.
我們的魂像雀鳥從捕鳥人的網羅裡得了搭救;網羅破裂,我們就得了搭救。
124:8
ἡ βοήθεια ἡμῶν ἐν ὀνόματι κυρίου τοῦ ποιήσαντος τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν
Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
我們的幫助在乎造天地之主的名。
