📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
⚠️ Psalms use Masoretic (Hebrew) numbering, which differs from printed Vulgate and Septuagint editions: Ps 138 here = Ps 137 in print. Convert before citing a printed edition.
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

Of David. I will give thanks to you, O Lord, with my whole heart, for you heard the words of my mouth; and before the angels I will sing praise to you.
I will bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your mercy and your truth, for you have magnified your oracle above every name.
Though I walk in the midst of affliction, you will give me life; against the wrath of my enemies you stretched out your hand, and your right hand saved me.
