為着終結。大衛的詩。

ἐξελοῦ με κύριε ἐξ ἀνθρώπου πονηροῦ ἀπὸ ἀνδρὸς ἀδίκου ῥῦσαί με
Rescue me, O Lord, from an evil man; deliver me from an unjust man.
主啊，求你救我脫離惡人，搭救我脫離不義的人。

οἵτινες ἐλογίσαντο ἀδικίας ἐν καρδίᾳ ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν παρετάσσοντο πολέμους
They devised injustices in their heart; all day long they arrayed wars.
他們心中圖謀不義，終日擺陣爭戰。

ἠκόνησαν γλῶσσαν αὐτῶν ὡσεὶ ὄφεως ἰὸς ἀσπίδων ὑπὸ τὰ χείλη αὐτῶν διάψαλμα
They sharpened their tongue like a serpent's; venom of asps is under their lips. Interlude
他們使舌頭尖利如蛇；他們的嘴唇下有虺蛇的毒。間奏

φύλαξόν με κύριε ἐκ χειρὸς ἁμαρτωλοῦ ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπων ἀδίκων ἐξελοῦ με οἵτινες ἐλογίσαντο ὑποσκελίσαι τὰ διαβήματά μου
Guard me, O Lord, from the hand of a sinner; rescue me from unjust men, who have plotted to trip up my steps.
主啊，求你保護我脫離罪人的手，救我脫離不義的人；他們圖謀絆跌我的腳步。

ἔκρυψαν ὑπερήφανοι παγίδα μοι καὶ σχοινία διέτειναν παγίδας τοῖς ποσίν μου ἐχόμενα τρίβου σκάνδαλον ἔθεντό μοι διάψαλμα
The arrogant hid a snare for me, and they stretched out cords as nets for my feet; beside the path they set a stumbling block for me. Interlude
驕傲的人為我暗設網羅，又拉開繩索作網子絆我的腳；他們在路旁為我安放絆腳石。間奏

εἶπα τῷ κυρίῳ θεός μου εἶ σύ ἐνώτισαι κύριε τὴν φωνὴν τῆς δεήσεώς μου
I said to the Lord: You are my God. Give ear, O Lord, to the voice of my supplication.
我曾對主說：你是我的神。主啊，求你側耳聽我懇求的聲音。

κύριε κύριε δύναμις τῆς σωτηρίας μου ἐπεσκίασας ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλήν μου ἐν ἡμέρᾳ πολέμου
O Lord, Lord, the strength of my salvation, you overshadowed my head in the day of war.
主，主啊，我救恩的能力，在爭戰的日子你遮蔽了我的頭。
140:8▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
μὴ παραδῷς με κύριε ἀπὸ τῆς ἐπιθυμίας μου ἁμαρτωλῷ διελογίσαντο κατ’ ἐμοῦ μὴ ἐγκαταλίπῃς με μήποτε ὑψωθῶσιν διάψαλμα
Do not hand me over, O Lord, from my desire, to a sinner; they have schemed against me. Do not forsake me, lest they be exalted. Interlude
主啊，求你不要照我的私慾把我交給罪人；他們謀算攻擊我。求你不要撇棄我，免得他們被高舉。間奏
140:9▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἡ κεφαλὴ τοῦ κυκλώματος αὐτῶν κόπος τῶν χειλέων αὐτῶν καλύψει αὐτούς
As for the head of their encirclement, the trouble of their lips shall cover them.
至於他們圍困之陣的首領，他們嘴唇所生的禍患必遮蓋他們。

πεσοῦνται ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς ἄνθρακες ἐν πυρὶ καταβαλεῖς αὐτούς ἐν ταλαιπωρίαις οὐ μὴ ὑποστῶσιν
Coals shall fall upon them; in fire you will cast them down; in miseries they shall never stand.
必有火炭落在他們身上；你要用火把他們摔倒，使他們在苦難中站立不住。

ἀνὴρ γλωσσώδης οὐ κατευθυνθήσεται ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἄνδρα ἄδικον κακὰ θηρεύσει εἰς διαφθοράν
A man full of tongue shall not prosper on the earth; evils shall hunt the unjust man to destruction.
多舌的人在地上必不得亨通；禍患必獵取不義的人，直到敗壞。
140:12▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
ἔγνων ὅτι ποιήσει κύριος τὴν κρίσιν τοῦ πτωχοῦ καὶ τὴν δίκην τῶν πενήτων
I know that the Lord will execute judgment for the poor and justice for the needy.
我知道主必為困苦人伸冤，為窮乏人施行公道。
140:13▷ ⧉ ⤴︎
πλὴν δίκαιοι ἐξομολογήσονται τῷ ὀνόματί σου καὶ κατοικήσουσιν εὐθεῖς σὺν τῷ προσώπῳ σου
Nevertheless the righteous will give thanks to your name, and the upright will dwell with your presence.
義人卻要稱謝你的名，正直人必住在你的面前。
