Psalms 52

Greek original · 10 verses · some words can be tapped for a gloss

← ch. 51ch. 53 →
📖 This chapter exists in 3 other originals — side by side (Hebrew Old Testament, Vulgate, Ge'ez Bible)
⚠️ Psalms use Masoretic (Hebrew) numbering, which differs from printed Vulgate and Septuagint editions: Ps 52 here = Ps 51 in print. Convert before citing a printed edition.
ℹ️ This corpus has no verse-level morphological tagging. Lemmas come mainly from word-level tagging of other books in the same language (not from this verse), falling back to dictionary form-matching for the rest. Rare homographs can still be misread; verify against the original and a specialist lexicon where precision matters.
ℹ️ The Chinese and English alongside are this site's own translation, made directly from the original text on this page (not the CUV or the WEB, which follow the Masoretic Text and a different textual tradition).

52:0
ἐν τῷ ἐλθεῖν Δωηκ τὸν Ιδουμαῖον καὶ ἀναγγεῖλαι τῷ Σαουλ καὶ εἰπεῖν αὐτῷ ἦλθεν Δαυιδ εἰς τὸν οἶκον Αβιμελεχ
When Doek the Idumean came and told Saul, and said to him: David has come to the house of Abimelech.
當以東人多益來告訴掃羅,對他說:大衛到了亞比米勒家的時候。
52:1
τί ἐγκαυχᾷ ἐν κακίᾳ ὁ δυνατός ἀνομίαν ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν
Why do you boast in malice, O mighty one, in lawlessness all day long?
勇士啊,你為何以作惡自誇?你終日行不法的事。
52:2
ἀδικίαν ἐλογίσατο ἡ γλῶσσά σου ὡσεὶ ξυρὸν ἠκονημένον ἐποίησας δόλον
Your tongue devised injustice; like a sharpened razor you worked deceit.
你的舌頭圖謀不義,如同磨快的剃刀,行出詭詐。
52:3
ἠγάπησας κακίαν ὑπὲρ ἀγαθωσύνην ἀδικίαν ὑπὲρ τὸ λαλῆσαι δικαιοσύνην διάψαλμα
You loved evil more than goodness, injustice more than speaking righteousness. Interlude
你愛惡勝過愛善,愛不義勝過說公義。間奏
52:4
ἠγάπησας πάντα τὰ ῥήματα καταποντισμοῦ γλῶσσαν δολίαν
You loved all words that drown, O deceitful tongue.
詭詐的舌頭啊,你愛一切叫人沉淪的話。
52:5
διὰ τοῦτο ὁ θεὸς καθελεῖ σε εἰς τέλος ἐκτίλαι σε καὶ μεταναστεύσαι σε ἀπὸ σκηνώματος καὶ τὸ ῥίζωμά σου ἐκ γῆς ζώντων διάψαλμα
Therefore God will tear you down completely; he will pluck you up and remove you from your tent, and your root from the land of the living. Interlude
因此神必把你徹底拆毀,把你拔起,將你從帳棚中遷走,把你的根從活人之地除去。間奏
52:6
καὶ ὄψονται δίκαιοι καὶ φοβηθήσονται καὶ ἐπ’ αὐτὸν γελάσονται καὶ ἐροῦσιν
And the righteous will see and fear, and will laugh at him, and say:
義人要看見而懼怕,並要嗤笑他,說:
52:7
ἰδοὺ ἄνθρωπος ὃς οὐκ ἔθετο τὸν θεὸν βοηθὸν αὐτοῦ ἀλλ’ ἐπήλπισεν ἐπὶ τὸ πλῆθος τοῦ πλούτου αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐδυναμώθη ἐπὶ τῇ ματαιότητι αὐτοῦ
Behold the man who did not make God his helper, but hoped in the abundance of his wealth, and grew strong in his vanity.
看哪,這就是那不以神為自己幫助的人,他倒指望自己豐盛的財富,在自己的虛妄上逞強。
52:8
ἐγὼ δὲ ὡσεὶ ἐλαία κατάκαρπος ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ θεοῦ ἤλπισα ἐπὶ τὸ ἔλεος τοῦ θεοῦ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος
But I am like a fruitful olive tree in the house of God; I hoped in the mercy of God forever and unto ages of ages.
至於我,就像神殿中多結果子的橄欖樹;我永永遠遠指望神的慈愛。
52:9
ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα ὅτι ἐποίησας καὶ ὑπομενῶ τὸ ὄνομά σου ὅτι χρηστὸν ἐναντίον τῶν ὁσίων σου
I will give you thanks forever, because you have acted; and I will wait on your name, for it is good before your holy ones.
我要永遠稱謝你,因為你行了這事;我要仰望你的名,因為在你聖民面前這名本為美善。
