εἰς τὸ τέλος τῷ Δαυιδ ψαλμός

For the end. Of David. A psalm.

為末了。大衛的詩。

40:1

ὑπομένων ὑπέμεινα τὸν κύριον καὶ προσέσχεν μοι καὶ εἰσήκουσεν τῆς δεήσεώς μου

I waited patiently for the Lord, and he attended to me and heard my supplication.

我耐心等候主；他垂顧我，聽了我的懇求。

40:2

καὶ ἀνήγαγέν με ἐκ λάκκου ταλαιπωρίας καὶ ἀπὸ πηλοῦ ἰλύος καὶ ἔστησεν ἐπὶ πέτραν τοὺς πόδας μου καὶ κατηύθυνεν τὰ διαβήματά μου

And he brought me up out of a pit of misery and out of the miry clay, and he set my feet upon a rock and made my steps straight.

他把我從困苦的坑裡、從淤泥中拉上來，使我的腳立在磐石上，又使我的腳步穩當。

40:3

καὶ ἐνέβαλεν εἰς τὸ στόμα μου ᾆσμα καινόν ὕμνον τῷ θεῷ ἡμῶν ὄψονται πολλοὶ καὶ φοβηθήσονται καὶ ἐλπιοῦσιν ἐπὶ κύριον

And he put a new song in my mouth, a hymn to our God. Many shall see and shall fear, and shall hope in the Lord.

他把新歌放在我口中，就是讚美我們神的詩歌。許多人必看見而懼怕，並要仰望主。

40:4

μακάριος ἀνήρ οὗ ἐστιν τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου ἐλπὶς αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἐνέβλεψεν εἰς ματαιότητας καὶ μανίας ψευδεῖς

Blessed is the man whose hope is the name of the Lord, and who has not looked to vanities and lying frenzies.

以主的名為盼望，不顧虛妄和虛謊狂妄的，這人便為有福。

40:5

πολλὰ ἐποίησας σύ κύριε ὁ θεός μου τὰ θαυμάσιά σου καὶ τοῖς διαλογισμοῖς σου οὐκ ἔστιν τίς ὁμοιωθήσεταί σοι ἀπήγγειλα καὶ ἐλάλησα ἐπληθύνθησαν ὑπὲρ ἀριθμόν

Many things have you done, O Lord my God—your wonders; and in your thoughts there is none who shall be likened to you. I declared and spoke; they were multiplied beyond number.

主我的神啊，你所行的奇事甚多；你的籌算，無人能與你相比。我要傳揚述說，只是多得不可勝數。

40:6

θυσίαν καὶ προσφορὰν οὐκ ἠθέλησας ὠτία δὲ κατηρτίσω μοι ὁλοκαύτωμα καὶ περὶ ἁμαρτίας οὐκ ᾔτησας

Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but ears you have prepared for me; whole burnt offering and sin offering you did not require.

祭物和供物是你不喜悅的，你卻為我預備了耳朵；燔祭和贖罪祭是你沒有要求的。

40:7

τότε εἶπον ἰδοὺ ἥκω ἐν κεφαλίδι βιβλίου γέγραπται περὶ ἐμοῦ

Then I said: Behold, I have come; in the scroll of the book it is written of me.

那時我說：看哪，我來了；在書卷上已有指著我的記載。

40:8

τοῦ ποιῆσαι τὸ θέλημά σου ὁ θεός μου ἐβουλήθην καὶ τὸν νόμον σου ἐν μέσῳ τῆς κοιλίας μου

To do your will, my God, I desired; and your law is within my belly.

我的神啊，我樂意遵行你的旨意；你的律法在我肺腑之中。

40:9

εὐηγγελισάμην δικαιοσύνην ἐν ἐκκλησίᾳ μεγάλῃ ἰδοὺ τὰ χείλη μου οὐ μὴ κωλύσω κύριε σὺ ἔγνως

I proclaimed the good news of righteousness in the great assembly; behold, I will not restrain my lips. O Lord, you know.

我在大會中傳揚公義的佳音；看哪，我必不禁止我的嘴唇。主啊，這是你所知道的。
