You keep the manner of sweetness—nay, to speak more truly, you increase it. You refreshed our solicitude by announcing prosperous things about yourselves; you visited our festival by desiring to learn what you wished about us. Yet amid these manifold banquets of souls, you also adorned even the table with bodily delicacies, you who had fed the Church with spiritual ones. Wherefore, unequal to giving thanks, I turn to prayers, asking the divine mercy that the charity whose advancement you assert by your zeal may profit you for a reward, me for a joy, and all for an example.
