58:1
ፍጻሜ ፡ ኢታማስን ፡ ዘዳዊት ፡ አርአያ ፡ መጽሐፍ ። እመሰ ፡ አማን ፡ ጽድቀ ፡ ትነቡ ፤ ወርትዐ ፡ ትኴንኑ ፡ ደቂቀ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እምሕያው ።
世人哪，你們默然不語，真合公義嗎？ 施行審判，豈按正直嗎？
Do you indeed speak righteousness, silent ones? Do you judge blamelessly, you sons of men?
58:2
እስመ ፡ በልብክሙ ፡ ኃጢአተ ፡ ትገብሩ ፡ በዲበ ፡ ምድር ፤ ወጽልሑተ ፡ ይፀፍራ ፡ እደዊክሙ ።
不然！你們是心中作惡； 你們在地上秤出你們手所行的強暴。
No, in your heart you plot injustice. You measure out the violence of your hands on the earth.
58:3
ተነክሩ ፡ ኃጥኣን ፡ እማሕፀን ፤ እምከርሥ ፡ ስሕቱ ፡ ወነበቡ ፡ ሐሰተ ።
惡人一出母胎就與上帝疏遠， 一離母腹便走錯路，說謊話。
The wicked go astray from the womb. They are wayward as soon as they are born, speaking lies.
58:4
ወመዐቶሙኒ ፡ ከመ ፡ ሕምዘ ፡ አርዌ ፡ ምድር ፤ ከመ ፡ አርዌ ፡ ምድር ፡ ጽምምት ፡ እዘኒሃ ።
他們的毒氣好像蛇的毒氣； 他們好像塞耳的聾虺，
Their poison is like the poison of a snake, like a deaf cobra that stops its ear,
58:5
እንት ፡ ኢትሰምዕ ፡ ቃለ ፡ ዘይሬቅያ ፤ እንዘ ፡ ይሠርያ ፡ መሠርይ ፡ ጠቢብ ።
不聽行法術的聲音， 雖用極靈的咒語也是不聽。
which doesn’t listen to the voice of charmers, no matter how skillful the charmer may be.
58:6
እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይሰብር ፡ ስነኒሆሙ ፡ በውስተ ፡ አፉሆሙ ፤ ወይሰብር ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ጥረሲሆሙ ፡ ለአናብስት ።
上帝啊，求你敲碎他們口中的牙！ 耶和華啊，求你敲掉少壯獅子的大牙！
Break their teeth, God, in their mouth. Break out the great teeth of the young lions, Yahweh.
58:7
ወየኀስሩ ፡ ከመ ፡ ማይ ፡ ዘይትከዐው ፤ ወይዌስቅ ፡ ቀስቶ ፡ እስከ ፡ ያደክዎሙ ።
願他們消滅，如急流的水一般； 他們瞅準射箭的時候，願箭頭彷彿砍斷。
Let them vanish like water that flows away. When they draw the bow, let their arrows be made blunt.
58:8
ወየኀልቁ ፡ ከመ ፡ ሰምዕ ፡ ዘይትመሰው ፤ ወድቀት ፡ እሳት ፡ ወኢርኢክዋ ፡ ለፀሐይ ።
願他們像蝸牛消化過去， 又像婦人墜落未見天日的胎。
Let them be like a snail which melts and passes away, like the stillborn child, who has not seen the sun.
58:9
ዘእንበለ ፡ ይትዐወቅ ፡ ሦክክሙ ፡ ሕለተ ፡ ኮነ ፡ ከመ ፡ ሕያዋን ፡ በመዐቱ ፡ ይውኅጠክሙ ።
你們用荊棘燒火，鍋還未熱， 他要用旋風把青的和燒着的一齊颳去。
Before your pots can feel the heat of the thorns, he will sweep away the green and the burning alike.
58:10
ይትፌሣሕ ፡ ጻድቅ ፡ ሶበ ፡ ይሬኢ ፡ በቀለ ፤ ወይትኀፀብ ፡ እዴሁ ፡ በደመ ፡ ኃጥእ ።
義人見仇敵遭報就歡喜， 要在惡人的血中洗腳。
The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance. He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked,
58:11
ወይብል ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ቦኑ ፡ እንጋ ፡ ፍሬ ፡ ለጻድቅ ፤ ወቦኑ ፡ እንጋ ፡ እግዚአብሔር ፡ ይፈትሕ ፡ ሎሙ ፡ በዲበ ፡ ምድር ።
因此，人必說：義人誠然有善報； 在地上果有施行判斷的上帝！
so that men shall say, “Most certainly there is a reward for the righteous. Most certainly there is a God who judges the earth.”
