8:1

ፍጻሜ ፡ በእንተ ፡ መክብብት ፤ መዝሙር ፡ ዘዳዊት ። እግዚኦ ፡ እግዚእነ ፡ ጥቀ ፡ ተሰብሐ ፡ ስምክ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ምድር ፤

耶和華－我們的主啊，你的名在全地何其美！你將你的榮耀彰顯於天。

Yahweh, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens!

8:2

እስመ ፡ ተለዐለ ፡ እበየ ፡ ስብሓቲከ ፡ መልዕልተ ፡ ሰማያት ።

你因敵人的緣故，從嬰孩和吃奶的口中，建立了能力，使仇敵和報仇的閉口無言。

From the lips of babes and infants you have established strength, because of your adversaries, that you might silence the enemy and the avenger.

8:3

እምአፈ ፡ ደቂቅ ፡ ወሕፃናት ፡ አስተዳሉከ ፡ ስብሐተ ፡ በእንተ ፡ ጸላኢ ፤ ከመ ፡ ትንሥቶ ፡ ለጸላኢ ፡ ወለገፋዒ ።

我觀看你指頭所造的天，並你所陳設的月亮星宿，

When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained,

8:4

እስመ ፡ ንሬኢ ፡ ሰማያተ ፡ ግብረ ፡ አጻብዒከ ፤ ወርኀ ፡ ወከዋክብተ ፡ ዘለሊከ ፡ ሳረርከ ።

便說：人算甚麼，你竟顧念他！世人算甚麼，你竟眷顧他！

what is man, that you think of him? What is the son of man, that you care for him?

8:5

ምንትኑ ፡ ውእቱ ፡ ሰብእ ፡ ከመ ፡ ትዝክሮ ፤ ወምንትኑ ፡ እጓለ ፡ እመሕያው ፡ ከመ ፡ ተሐውጾ ።

你叫他比天使微小一點，並賜他榮耀尊貴為冠冕。

For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and crowned him with glory and honor.

8:6

ሕቀ ፡ አሕጸጽኮ ፡ እምላእክቲከ ፤ ክብረ ፡ ወስብሐተ ፡ ከለልኮ ። ወሢምኮ ፡ ዲበ ፡ ኵሉ ፡ ግብረ ፡ እደዊከ ፤

你派他管理你手所造的，使萬物，就是一切的牛羊、田野的獸、空中的鳥、海裏的魚，凡經行海道的，都服在他的腳下。

You make him ruler over the works of your hands. You have put all things under his feet:

8:7

ወኵሎ ፡ አግረርከ ፡ ሎቱ ፡ ታሕተ ፡ እገሪሁ ። አባግዐኒ ፡ ወኵሎ ፡ አልህምተ ፤ ወዓዲ ፡ እንስሳ ፡ ዘገዳም ።

你派他管理你手所造的，使萬物，就是一切的牛羊、田野的獸、空中的鳥、海裏的魚，凡經行海道的，都服在他的腳下。

All sheep and cattle, yes, and the animals of the field,

8:8

አዕዋፈ ፡ ሰማይኒ ፡ ወዐሣተ ፡ ባሕር ፤ ወዘኒ ፡ የሐውር ፡ ውስተ ፡ ፍኖተ ፡ ባሕር ።

你派他管理你手所造的，使萬物，就是一切的牛羊、田野的獸、空中的鳥、海裏的魚，凡經行海道的，都服在他的腳下。

the birds of the sky, the fish of the sea, and whatever passes through the paths of the seas.

8:9

እግዚኦ ፡ እግዚእነ ፡ ጥቀ ፡ ተሰብሐ ፡ ስምከ ፡ በኵሉ ፡ ምድር ።

耶和華－我們的主啊，你的名在全地何其美！

Yahweh, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!
