And the Apostle says (Phil. 2:8-9) that after the death of Christ, and that the death of the cross, the Father exalted Him and gave Him a name, that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, on earth, and under the earth—that is, should adore Him; the Lord Himself elsewhere saying, «You shall adore the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve» (Matt. 4:10).
