124:1
Et si mulla sunt dona: omnia tamen hæc operatur unus atque idem Spiritus, dividens singulis prout vult ( I Cor. XII, 11). Non in paucioribus minor, nec in majoribus amplior; per quem etiam si alius alio Minus accipit, intelligat donum pptius posse minui quam donantem
And though the gifts be many, yet all these one and the same Spirit works, dividing to each as He wills (1 Cor. 12:11). Not lesser in the fewer, nor greater in the more; through whom, even if one man receives less than another, let him understand that the gift can be diminished rather than the Giver.
眾恩賜雖然眾多,這一切卻都是這位聖靈所運行、隨己意分給各人的(哥林多前書十二11)。祂不因所賜較少而變小,也不因所賜較多而變大;藉著祂,即使這人所領受的比那人少,人也當明白:可以被削減的乃是恩賜,而非那賜恩者。
