Insonuit Pauli apostoli auribus, quod non ficet homini loqui (// Cor. XII, 4), quodque ille permitteretur dicere, si nos mereremur audire. Si enim in modicofidelesnonfuistis, quod majus est quis credct vobis (Luc. XVI, 12) ?
There resounded in the ears of the Apostle Paul that which it is not lawful for a man to utter (2 Cor. 12:4), and which he would be permitted to tell, if we were worthy to hear it. For if you have not been faithful in a little, who will entrust to you what is greater (Luke 16:11)?
