55:1
Prospera Deo propitio festivitatis exordia, quia obtinueratis suffragio, visitastis affectu.
The prosperous beginnings of the festival, by God's favor, which you had obtained by your intercession, you visited also with your affection. For while you both bear care for the father as is your wont, and announce concerning your own safety the things that befit our prayers, you offer what we rejoice at, and require what we owe. May Christ grant an abundant supply of this very piety and regard of yours, in which—doubled by you through the gift of your teaching—your elders may be strengthened by the benefit of your solicitude, and those who come after may be taught by the example of your charity.
