3-28:1

Καὶ ὁ Τρύφων· Καὶ πρότερον ἀκηκόαμέν σου τοῦτο προβάλλοντος καὶ ἐπεστήσαμεν· ἄξιον γάρ, ὡς ἀληθῶς εἰπεῖν, ἐπιστάσεως. Καὶ οὔ μοι, ὅ τοῖς πολλοῖς, δοκεῖ λέγειν, ὅτι ἔδοξεν αὐτῷ· τοῦτο γάρ ἐστι πρόφασις ἀεὶ τοῖς μὴ δυναμένοις ἀποκρίνασθαι πρὸς τὸ ζητούμενον

And Trypho said: We have heard you propound this before, and we have given it our attention; for it is, to speak truly, worthy of attention. And it does not seem to me as it does to most—to say that 'it seemed good to Him'; for that is always an excuse for those who are unable to give an answer to the question at issue.

特來弗說：你以前提出這個問題，我們也曾留意過；說實話，這確實值得留意。我並不像多數人那樣，認為該說「這是他的旨意」就算了；因為那不過是那些不能回答所問之事的人，常用的藉口罷了。

Κἀγώ· Ἐπειδὴ ἀπό τε τῶν γραφῶν καὶ τῶν πραγμάτων τάς τε ἀποδείξεις καὶ τὰς ὁμιλίας ποιοῦμαι, ἔλεγον, μὴ ὑπερτίθεσθε μηδὲ διστάζετε πιστεῦσαι τῷ ἀπεριτμήτῳ ἐμοί. Βραχὺς οὗτος ὑμῖν περιλείπεται προσηλύσεως χρόνος· ἐὰν φθάσῃ ὁ Χριστὸς ἐλθεῖν. μάτην μετανοήσετε, μάτην κλαύσετε· οὐ γὰρ εἰσακούσεται ὑμῶν. Νεώσατε ἑαυτοῖς νεώματα, Ἱερεμίας τῷ λαῷ κέκραγε, καὶ μὴ σπείρετε ἐπ ἀκάνθας. Περιτέμνετε τῷ κυρίῳ. καὶ περιτέμνεσθε τὴν ἀκροβυστίαν τῆς καρδίας ὑμῶν

And I said: Since I make my demonstrations and discourses from both the Scriptures and from facts, do not delay nor hesitate to believe me, an uncircumcised man. Only a short time of opportunity for joining is left to you; if Christ should first come, you will repent in vain, you will weep in vain; for He will not hearken to you. 'Break up for yourselves fresh ground,' Jeremiah cried to the people, 'and do not sow among thorns. Circumcise yourselves to the Lord, and circumcise the foreskin of your heart.'

我說：既然我是從聖經和事實兩方面作論證、講論，你們就不要遲延，也不要疑惑而不肯相信我這未受割禮的人。如今留給你們歸入的時候已經不多了；倘若基督先來到，你們悔改也是枉然，哭泣也是枉然，因為他必不聽你們。耶利米向百姓呼喊說：你們要為自己開墾荒地，不要撒種在荊棘中。你們要向耶和華受割禮，將心的污穢除掉。

3-28:3

Μὴ οὖν εἰς ἀκάνθας σπείρετε καὶ ἀνήροτον χωρίον, ὅθεν ὑμῖν καρπὸς οὐκ ἔστι. Γνῶτε τὸν Χριστόν, καὶ ἰδοῦ νειὸς καλή, καλὴ καὶ πίων ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν. Ἰδοὺ γὰρ ἡμέραι ἔρχονται, λέγει κύριος, καὶ ἐπισκέψομαι ἐπὶ πάντας περιτετμημένους ἀκροβυστίας αὐτῶν, ἐπ Αἴγυπτον καὶ ἐπὶ Ἰούδαν καὶ ἐπὶ Ἐδὼμ καὶ ἐπὶ υἱοὺς Μωάβ, ὅτι πάντα τὰ ἔθνη ἀπερίτμητα καὶ πᾶς οἶκος Ἰσραὴλ ἀπερίτμητος καρδίας αὐτῶν

So do not sow among thorns and in unploughed ground, from which you have no fruit. Know Christ, and behold, there is good fallow ground, good and fertile in your hearts. For behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will visit all who are circumcised in their foreskin: upon Egypt, and upon Judah, and upon Edom, and upon the sons of Moab; for all the nations are uncircumcised, and the whole house of Israel is uncircumcised in their hearts.

所以你們不要撒種在荊棘中和未開墾之地，免得從那裏得不到果實。你們要認識基督，看哪，在你們心中就有美好的新地，又美好又肥沃。耶和華說：看哪，日子將到，我必刑罰一切受過肉身割禮的：就是埃及、猶大、以東和摩押人，因為列國都是未受割禮的，以色列全家心中也是未受割禮的。

3-28:4

Ὁρᾶτε ὡς οὐ ταύτην τὴν περιτομὴν τὴν εἰς σημεῖον δοθεῖσαν ὁ θεὸς θέλει· οὐδὲ γὰρ Αἰγυπτίοις χρήσιμος οὐδὲ τοῖς υἱοῖς Μωὰβ οὐδὲ τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἐδώμ. Ἀλλὰ κἄν Σκύθηςᾖ τις ἢ Πέρσης, ἔχει δὲ τὴν τοῦ θεοῦ γνῶσιν καὶ τοῦ Χριστοῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ φυλάσσει τὰ αἰώνια δίκαια, περιτέτμηται τὴν καλὴν καὶ ὠφέλιμον περιτομήν, καὶ φίλος ἐστὶ τῷ θεῷ, καὶ ἐπὶ τοῖς δώροις αὐτοῦ καὶ ταῖς προσφοραῖς χαίρει

You see that God does not desire this circumcision which was given for a sign; for it was of no use to the Egyptians, nor to the sons of Moab, nor to the sons of Edom. But even if one be a Scythian or a Persian, yet has the knowledge of God and of His Christ, and keeps the eternal precepts of righteousness, he is circumcised with the good and profitable circumcision, and is a friend of God, and over his gifts and offerings God rejoices.

由此可見，神並不喜悅那作記號所賜的割禮；因為它對埃及人、摩押人、以東人都沒有益處。然而即或有人是西古提人或波斯人，只要有神和他基督的知識，並遵守那永遠的義，他就是受了那美好有益的割禮，並且是神的朋友，神也因他的禮物和供物而喜悅。

Παρέξω δὲ ὑμῖν, ἄνδρες φίλοι, καὶ αὐτοῦ ῥήματα τοῦ θεοῦ, ὁπότε πρὸς τὸν λαὸν εἶπε διὰ Μαλαχίου, ἑνὸς τῶν δώδεκα προφητῶν. Ἔστι δὲ ταῦτα· οὐκ ἔστι θέλημά μου ἐν ὑμῖν, λέγει κύριος, καὶ τὰς θυσίας ὑμῶν οὐ προσδέχομαι ἐκ τῶν χειρῶν ὑμῶν· διότι ἀπὸ ἀνατολῆς ἡλίου ἕως δυσμῶν τὸ ὄνομά μου δεδόξασται ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσι, καὶ ἐν παντὶ τόπῳ θυσία προσφέρεται τῷ ὀνόματί μου καὶ θυσία καθαρά, ὅτι τιμᾶται τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσι, λέγει κύριος, ὑμεῖς δὲ βεβηλοῦτε αὐτό

And I will also set before you, friends, the very words of God, when He spoke to the people through Malachi, one of the twelve prophets. They are these: I have no pleasure in you, says the Lord, and I will not accept your sacrifices from your hands; for from the rising of the sun to its setting My name is glorified among the nations, and in every place a sacrifice is offered to My name, even a pure sacrifice; for My name is honoured among the nations, says the Lord, but you profane it.

Καὶ διὰ τοῦ Δαυῒδ ἔφη· λαός, ὅν οὐκ ἔγνων, ἐδούλευσέ μοι· εἰς ἀκοὴν ὠτίου ὑπήκουσέ μου

And through David He said: A people whom I did not know served Me; at the hearing of the ear they obeyed Me.
