Ὅταν δὲ ἀπὸ προσώπου τοῦ Χριστοῦ λέγῃ τὸ προφητικὸν πνεῦμα, οὕτως φθέγγεται· Ἐγὼ ἐξεπέτασα τὰς χεῖράς μου ἐπὶ λαὸν ἀπειθοῦντα καὶ ἀντιλέγοντα, ἐπὶ τοὺς πορευομένους ἐν ὁδῷ οὐ καλῇ. Καὶ πάλιν· Τὸν νῶτόν μου τέθεικα εἰς μάστιγας καὶ τὰς σιαγόνας μου εἰς ῥαπίσματα, τὸ δὲ πρόσωπόν μου οὐκ ἀπέστρεψα ἀπὸ αἰσχύνης ἐμπτυσμάτων. Καὶ ὁ κύριος βοηθός μου ἐγένετο· διὰ τοῦτο οὐκ ἐνετράπην, ἀλλ ἔθηκα τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ὡς στερεὰν πέτραν, καὶ ἔγνων, ὅτι οὐ μὴ αἰσχυνθῶ, ὅτι ἐγγίζει ὁ δικαιώσας με. Καὶ πάλιν ὅταν λέγῃ· Αὐτοὶ ἔβαλον κλῆρον ἐπὶ τὸν ἱματισμόν μου, καὶ ὤρυξάν μου πόδας καὶ χεῖρας. Ἐγὼ δὲ ἐκοιμήθην καὶ ὕπνωσα, καὶ ἀνέστην, ὅτι κύριος ἀντελάβετό μου. Καὶ πάλιν ὅταν λέγῃ· Ἐλάλησαν ἐν χείλεσιν, ἐκίνησαν κεφαλὴν λέγοντες· Ῥυσάσθω ἑαυτόν. Ἅτινα πάντα ὅτι γέγονεν ὑπὸ τῶν Ἰουδαίων τῷ Χριστῷ, μαθεῖν δύνασθε. Σταυρωθέντος γὰρ αὐτοῦ ἐξέστρεφον τὰ χείλη καὶ ἐκίνουν τὰς κεφαλὰς λέγοντες·Ὁ νεκροὺς ἀνεγείρας ῥυσάσθω ἑαυτόν
每當預言之靈以基督的身分說話時，便這樣發言：「我整天伸手招呼那悖逆頂嘴的百姓，就是那些行在不善之道上的人。」又說：「我將背脊交給鞭打的人，將兩腮交給掌摑的人；人辱我、吐我，我並不掩面。主作我的幫助，所以我不致蒙羞，便硬著臉面好像堅石，知道我必不致蒙羞，因為稱我為義的離我不遠。」又說：「他們為我的衣服拈鬮，又扎了我的手、我的腳。我躺下睡覺，我醒著，因為主扶持我。」又說：「他們以嘴唇譏笑我，搖頭說：『讓他自己搭救自己吧。』」這一切都是猶太人向基督所行的，你們可以查知。因為他被釘十字架時，他們撇嘴搖頭說：「那叫死人復活的，讓他自己搭救自己吧。」
And whenever the prophetic Spirit speaks from the person of Christ, it utters thus: "I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contradicting people, to those who walk in a way that is not good." And again: "I gave my back to scourgings and my cheeks to blows, and I turned not my face from the shame of spittings. And the Lord became my helper; therefore I was not put to shame, but set my face as a hard rock, and knew that I should not be ashamed, for he who justifies me draws near." And again, when it says: "They cast lots for my clothing, and pierced my feet and hands. But I lay down and slept, and rose again, for the Lord sustained me." And again, when it says: "They spoke with their lips, they wagged their head, saying, Let him deliver himself." That all these things were done by the Jews to Christ, you can learn. For when he was crucified, they twisted their lips and wagged their heads, saying, "Let him who raised the dead deliver himself."
