3-135:1
Καὶ ὅταν ἡ γραφὴ λέγῃ· Ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεός, ὁ ἄγιος Ἰσραήλ, ὁ καταδείξας Ἰσραὴλ βασιλέα ὑμῶν· οὐχὶ ἀληθῶς τὸν Χριστὸν τὸν αἰώνιον βασιλέα ἀκούσεσθε; Καὶ Ἰακὼβ γάρ, ὁ τοῦ Ἰσαὰκ υἱός, ὅτι οὐδέποτε βασιλεὺς γέγονεν, ἐπίστασθε καὶ διὰ τοῦτο ἡ γραφή, πάλιν ἐξηγουμένη ἡμῖν τίνα λέγει βασιλέα Ἰακὼβ καὶ Ἰσραήλ, οὕτως ἔφη·
當經上說「我是耶和華神，以色列的聖者，是設立以色列作你們之王的」時，你們豈不真該把它領會為那永遠的王基督嗎？因為你們知道，以撒的兒子雅各從未作過王；因此經上再次向我們解釋它所指雅各和以色列是甚麼王，如此說：
And when the Scripture says, 'I am the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, who appointed Israel your king,' will you not in truth understand it of Christ the eternal King? For you know that Jacob, the son of Isaac, never became a king; and therefore the Scripture, again expounding to us what king it means by Jacob and Israel, thus said:
3-135:2
Ἰακὼβ ὁ παῖς μου, ἀντιλήψομαι αὐτοῦ· καὶ Ἰσραὴλ ὁ ἐκλεκτός μου, προσδέξεται αὐτὸν ἡ ψυχή μου. Δέδωκα τὸ πνεῦμά μου ἐπ αὐτόν, καὶ κρίσιν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν ἐξοίσει. Οὐ κεκράξεται, οὐδὲ ἀκουσθήσεται ἔξω ἡ φωνὴ αὐτοῦ· κάλαμον τεθραυσμένον οὐ συντρίψει καὶ λίνον τυφόμενον οὐ σβέσει, ἕως οὗ νῖκος ἐξοίσει, κρίσιν ἀναλήψει, καὶ οὐ θραυσθήσεται, ἕως ἄν θῇ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς κρίσιν· καὶ ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ ἐλπιοῦσιν ἔθνη
「我的僕人雅各，我必扶持他；我所揀選的以色列，我的心必喜悅他。我已將我的靈賜給他，他必將公理傳給外邦。他不喧嚷，他的聲音也不在外面被聽見；壓傷的蘆葦他不折斷，將殘的燈火他不吹滅，直到他施行得勝；他必施行公理，並不灰心，直到他在地上設立公理；外邦人都要仰望他的名。」
'Jacob is my servant, I will uphold him; and Israel is my chosen, my soul shall accept him. I have put my Spirit upon him, and he shall bring forth judgement to the nations. He shall not cry, nor shall his voice be heard outside; a bruised reed he shall not break, and smoking flax he shall not quench, until he bring forth victory; he shall take up judgement, and shall not be broken, until he set judgement on the earth; and in his name shall the nations hope.'
3-135:3
Μήτι οὖν ἐπὶ τὸν Ἰακὼβ τὸν πατριάρχην οἱ απὸ τῶν ἐθνῶν ἐλπίζουσιν, ἀλλ οὐκ ἐπὶ τὸν Χριστόν, καὶ ὑμεῖς δὲ αὐτοί; Ὡς οὖν Ἰσραὴλ τὸν Χριστὸν καὶ Ἰακὼβ λέγει, οὕτως καὶ ἡμεῖς ἐκ τῆς κοιλίας τοῦ Χριστοῦ λατομηθέντες ἰσραηλιτικὸν τὸ ἀληθινόν ἐσμεν γένος. Αὐτῷ δὲ μᾶλλον τῷ ῥητῷ προσέχωμεν
那麼，那些從萬國來的人是仰望雅各這族長，而不是仰望基督嗎？——還是你們自己也如此？那麼，正如祂稱基督既為以色列、也為雅各，照樣我們這些從基督腹中鑿出來的，乃是真正的以色列族類。但讓我們倒留心那經文本身。
Do those from the nations, then, hope in Jacob the patriarch, and not in Christ?—and do you yourselves? As, then, He calls Christ both Israel and Jacob, so also we, hewn out of the womb of Christ, are the true Israelite race. But let us rather give heed to the very text.
3-135:4
Καὶ ἐξάξω, φησί, τὸ ἐξ Ἰακὼβ σπέρμα καὶ ἐξ Ἰούδα· καὶ κληρονομήσει τὸ ὄρος τὸ ἅγιόν μου, καὶ κληρονομήσουσιν οἱ ἐκλεκτοί μου καὶ οἱ δοῦλοί μου, καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐκεῖ· καὶ ἔσονται ἐν τῷ δρυμῷ ἐπαύλεις ποιμνίων, καὶ φάραγξ Ἀχὼρ εἰς ἀνάπαυσιν βουκολίων τῷ λαῷ οἳ ἐζήτησάν με. Ὑμεῖς δέ, οἱ ἐγκαταλείποντές με καὶ ἐπιλανθανόμενοι τὸ ὄρος τὸ ἅγιόν μου καὶ ἑτοιμάζοντες τοῖς δαιμονίοις τράπεζαν καὶ πληροῦντες τῷ δαίμονι κέρασμα, ἐγὼ παραδώσω ὑμᾶς εἰς μάχαιραν· πάντες σφαγῇ πεσεῖσθε ὅτι ἐκάλεσα ὑμᾶς καὶ οὐχ ὑπηκούσατε, ἐλάλησα καὶ παρηκούσατε, καὶ ἐποιήσατε τὸ πονηρὸν ἐνώπιόν μου, καὶἃ οὐκ ἐβουλόμην ἐξελέξασθε
「我必從雅各中、從猶大中領出後裔來；他要承受我的聖山，我所揀選的、我的僕人要承受它，並要住在那裡；林中必有羊群的圈，亞割谷必成為尋求我之百姓牛群安歇之處。但你們這些離棄我、忘記我聖山、為鬼魔擺設筵席、為魔鬼盛滿調和之酒的，我必使你們交與刀劍；你們都必被殺仆倒，因為我呼喚你們，你們不聽從，我說話，你們不聽，反倒行我眼中看為惡的事，揀選我所不喜悅的。」
'And I will bring forth the seed out of Jacob and out of Judah; and it shall inherit my holy mountain, and my chosen and my servants shall inherit it, and shall dwell there; and there shall be folds for flocks in the wood, and the valley of Achor shall be for a resting-place of herds for the people who have sought me. But you, who forsake me and forget my holy mountain, and prepare a table for the demons and fill up a mixed drink for the demon, I will deliver you to the sword; you shall all fall by slaughter, because I called you and you did not obey, I spoke and you did not listen, and you did the evil before me, and chose what I did not will.'
3-135:5
Καὶ τὰ μὲν τῆς γραφῆς ταῦτα· συννοεῖτε δὲ καὶ αὐτοὶ ὅτι ἄλλο τί ἐστι τὸ ἐξ Ἰακὼβ σπέρμα νῦν λεγόμενον, οὐχ ὡς οἰηθείη τις ἂν περὶ τοῦ λαοῦ λέγεσθαι. Οὐ γὰρ ἐνδέχεται τοῖς ἐξ Ἰακὼβ γεγεννημένοις ἀπολιπεῖν ἐπείσαξιν τοὺς ἐξ Ἰακὼβ σπαρέντας, οὐδὲ ὀνειδίζοντα τῷ λαῷ, ὡς μὴ ἀξίῳ τῆς κληρονομίας, πάλιν, ὡς ὑπολαβόμενος, τοῖς αὐτοῖς ὑπισχνεῖσθαι
這些是經上的話；但你們自己要明白，如今所說「出於雅各的後裔」是另一回事，並非如人所想是論那百姓說的。因為從雅各所生的後裔，不可能撇下那從雅各而生的人、而引入外來者；祂也不可能在責備那百姓不配承受產業的同時，又如人所想，再向那同樣的人應許。
And these are the words of the Scripture; but understand for yourselves that the seed out of Jacob now spoken of is something other, not, as one might suppose, said concerning the people. For it is not possible that the seed sown from Jacob should leave behind, as an importation, those born from Jacob; nor, while reproaching the people as unworthy of the inheritance, should He again, as one might suppose, promise to those same ones.
3-135:6
Ἀλλ ὅνπερ τρόπον ἐκεῖ φησιν ὁ προφήτης· Καὶ νῦν σὺ οἶκος τοῦ Ἰακώβ, δεῦρο καὶ πορευθῶμεν ἐν φωτὶ κυρίου· ἀνῆκε γὰρ τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ, τὸν οἶκον Ἰακώβ, ὅτι ἐπλήσθη ἡ χώρα αὐτῶν, ὡς τὸ ἀπ ἀρχῆς, μαντειῶν καὶ κληδονισμῶν· οὕτω καὶ ἐνθάδε δεῖ νοεῖν ἡμᾶς δύο σπέρματα Ἰούδα καὶ δ(??)ο γένη, ὡς δύο οἴκους Ἰακώβ, τὸν μὲν ἐξ αἵματος καὶ σαρκός, τὸν δὲ ἐκ πίστεως καὶ πνεύματος γεγεννημένον
但正如那先知在那裡說「雅各家啊，來吧，我們在耶和華的光中行走」——因為祂已撇棄了祂的百姓雅各家，因他們的地像起初一樣充滿了占卜和算命——照樣在此我們也須領會猶大有兩種後裔、有兩個族類，如同雅各的兩個家：一個是從血和肉所生的，另一個是從信心和靈所生的。
But in the same manner that the prophet there says, 'And now, O house of Jacob, come, and let us walk in the light of the Lord'—for He had abandoned His people, the house of Jacob, because their land was filled, as from the beginning, with divinations and soothsayings—so also here we must understand two seeds of Judah and two races, as two houses of Jacob: the one born of blood and flesh, the other of faith and Spirit.
