3-126:1
Τίςδ ἐστὶν οὗτος, ὅς καὶ ἄγγελος μεγάλης βουλῆς ποτε, καὶ ἀνὴρ διὰ Ἰεζεκιήλ, καὶ ὡς υἱὸς ἀνθρώπου διὰ Δανιήλ, καὶ παιδίον διὰ Ἡσαίου, καὶ Χριστὸς καὶ θεὸς προσκυνητὸς διὰ Δαυΐδ, καὶ Χριστὸς καὶ λίθος διὰ πολλῶν, καὶ σοφία διὰ Σολομῶνος, καὶ Ἰωσὴφ καὶ Ἰούδα καὶ ἄστρον διὰ Μωσέως, καὶ ἀνατολὴ διὰ Ζαχαρίου, καὶ παθητὸς καὶ Ἰακὼβ καὶ Ἰσραὴλ πάλιν διὰ Ἡσαίου, καὶ ῥάβδος καὶ ἄνθος καὶ λίθος ἀκρογωνιαῖος κέκληται καὶ υἱὸς θεοῦ, εἰ ἐγνώκειτε, ὦ Τρύφων, ἔφην, οὐκ ἂν ἐβλασφημεῖτε εἰς αὐτὸν ἤδη καὶ παραγενόμενον καὶ γεννηθέντα καὶ παθόντα καὶ ἀναβάντα εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν· ὃς καὶ πάλιν παρέσται, καὶ τότε κόψονται ὑμῶν αἱ δώδεκα φυλαί
這位是誰，祂有時被稱為大謀略的使者，又藉以西結被稱為人，藉但以理被稱為人子，藉以賽亞被稱為孩童，藉大衛被稱為當受敬拜的基督和神，藉許多人被稱為基督和石頭，藉所羅門被稱為智慧，藉摩西被稱為約瑟、猶大和星，藉撒迦利亞被稱為晨光，又藉以賽亞被稱為能受苦的、雅各和以色列，並被稱為杖、花、房角石和神的兒子？特來弗啊，我說，你們若認識這些事，就不會謗瀆那位已經來臨、出生、受苦並升天的——祂還要再來，那時你們的十二支派都要哀哭。
And who is this One, who is at one time called Angel of great counsel, and a man through Ezekiel, and as a son of man through Daniel, and a child through Isaiah, and Christ and God to be worshipped through David, and Christ and a stone through many, and Wisdom through Solomon, and Joseph and Judah and a star through Moses, and Dawn through Zechariah, and again subject to suffering and Jacob and Israel through Isaiah, and is called a rod and a flower and a cornerstone and Son of God? If you had known these things, O Trypho, I said, you would not be blaspheming Him who has already come and been born and suffered and ascended into heaven—who will also come again, and then your twelve tribes shall mourn.
3-126:2
Ἐπεὶ εἰ νενοήκατε τὰ εἰρημένα ὑπὸ τῶν προφητῶν, οὐκ ἂν ἐξηρνεῖσθε αὐτὸν εἶναι θεόν, τοῦ μόνου καὶ ἀγεννήτου καὶ ἀρρήτου θεοῦ υἱόν. Εἴρηται γάρ που καὶ διὰ Μωσέως ἐν τῇ Ἐξόδῳ οὕτως· Ἐλάλησε δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωσῆν, καὶ εἶπε πρὸς αὐτόν· Ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος, καὶ ὤφθην πρὸς τὸν Ἀβραὰμ καὶ Ἰσαὰκ καὶ Ἰακώβ, θεὸς αὐτῶν, καὶ τὸ ὄνομά μου οὐκ ἐδήλωσα αὐτοῖς, καὶ ἔστησα τὴν διαθήκην μου πρὸς αὐτούς
因為你們若領悟了眾先知所說的話，就不會否認祂是神，是那獨一、非受生、不可言喻之神的兒子。因為藉摩西在出埃及記中某處也如此說：「耶和華對摩西說，對他說：我是耶和華，我向亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各顯現，作他們的神，我的名我沒有向他們表明，我與他們堅立了我的約。」
For if you had understood the things spoken by the prophets, you would not have denied that He is God, the Son of the only and unbegotten and ineffable God. For it is said somewhere also through Moses in Exodus thus: 'And the Lord spoke to Moses, and said to him: I am the Lord, and I appeared to Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, their God, and my name I did not declare to them, and I established my covenant with them.'
3-126:3
Καὶ οὕτω πάλιν λέγει· Μετὰ Ἰακὼβ ἄνθρωπος ἐπάλαιε· καὶ θεόν φησιν εἶναι. Εἶδον γὰρ θεὸν πρόσωπον πρὸς πρόσωπον, καὶ ἐσώθη ἡ ψυχή μου, λέγει εἰρηκέναι τὸν Ἰακώβ. Καὶ ὅτι καὶ τὸν τόπον, ὅπου αὐτῷ ἐπάλαισε καὶ ὤφθη καὶ εὐλόγησε, καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Εἶδος θεοῦ, ἀνέγραψε
祂又如此說：「有一人與雅各摔跤」；他說那是神。「因為我面對面見了神，我的性命仍得保全」，他說雅各這樣說過。並且他也記載了那祂與他摔跤、向他顯現並賜福他的地方，稱它為「神的面（Form of God / Eidos theou）」。
And again He says thus: 'A man wrestled with Jacob'; and he says it was God. 'For I saw God face to face, and my soul was saved,' he says Jacob said. And that he also recorded the place where He wrestled with him and appeared and blessed him, and called it the Form of God.
3-126:4
Καὶ τῷ Ἀβραὰμ ὁμοίως, ὡς Μωσῆς φησιν, ὤφθη ὁ θεὸς πρὸς τῇ δρυῒ τῇ Μαμβρῆ, καθημένῳ ἐπὶ τῆς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς αὐτοῦ μεσημβρίας. Εἶτα ταῦτα εἰπὼν ἐπιφέρει· Ἀναβλέψας δὲ τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς εἶδε. καὶ ἰδοὺ τρεῖς ἄνδρες εἱστήκεισαν ἐπάνω αὐτοῦ. Καὶ ἰδὼν συνέδραμεν εἰς συνάντησιν αὐτοῖς. Μετ ὀλίγον δὲ εἷς ἐξ αὐτῶν ὑπισχνεῖται τῷ Ἀβραὰμ υἱόν· Τί ὅτι ἐγέλασε Σάρρα λέγουσα· Ἆρά γε τέξομαι; Ἐγὼ δὲ γεγήρακα. Μὴ ἀδυνατεῖ παρὰ τῷ θεῷ ῥῆμα; Εἰς τὸν καιρὸν τοῦτον ἀποστρέψω εἰς ὥρας, καὶ ἔσται τῇ Σάρρᾳ υἱός. Καὶ ἀπαλλάσσονται ἀπὸ Ἀβραάμ
照樣，向亞伯拉罕，正如摩西所說，神在幔利的橡樹那裡向他顯現，那時他正午坐在帳棚門口。他說了這話，又補充說：「他舉目觀看，看哪，有三個人站在他對面。他一看見就跑去迎接他們。」過了一會，他們中一位應許亞伯拉罕得一個兒子：「撒拉為甚麼暗笑，說：我既已年老，果真能生養嗎？在神豈有難成的事嗎？到了所定的日期，我必回到你這裡來，撒拉必生一個兒子。」於是他們離開亞伯拉罕。
And likewise to Abraham, as Moses says, God appeared by the oak of Mamre, as he sat at the door of his tent at midday. Then, having said this, he adds: 'And lifting up his eyes he looked, and behold, three men stood over him. And seeing them, he ran to meet them.' And after a little, one of them promises Abraham a son: 'Why did Sarah laugh, saying: Shall I indeed bear? for I am grown old. Is anything impossible with God? At this season I will return at the appointed time, and Sarah shall have a son.' And they depart from Abraham.
3-126:5
Καὶ οὕτω περὶ αὐτῶν πάλιν λέγει· Ἐξαναστάντες δὲ ἐκεῖθεν οἱ ἄνδρες κατέβλεψαν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον Σοδόμων. Εἶτα πάλιν πρὸς τὸν Ἀβραὰμ ὃς ἦν καὶ ἔστιν οὕτως λέγει· Οὐ μὴ κρύψω ἀπὸ τοῦ παιδός μου Ἀβραὰμ ἐγὼἃ μέλλω ποιεῖν· καὶ τὰ ἑξῆς ἀνιστορημένα ἀπὸ τῶν τοῦ Μωσέως καὶ ἐξηγημένα ὑπ ἐμοῦ πάλιν ἔλεγον, δι ὧν ἀποδέδεικται ὑπὸ τῷ πατρὶ καὶ κυρίῳ τεταγμένος καὶ ὑπηρετῶν τῇ βουλῇ αὐτοῦ οὗτος ὃς ὤφθη τῷ τε Ἀβραὰμ καὶ τῷ Ἰσαὰκ καὶ τῷ Ἰακὼβ καὶ τοῖς ἄλλοις πατριάρχαις, ἀναγεγραμμένος θεός, ἔλεγον
於是祂又論到他們說：「那些人從那裡起身，向所多瑪觀看。」然後祂——那位昔在今在的——又如此對亞伯拉罕說：「我所要作的事，豈可瞞著我僕人亞伯拉罕呢？」我又把出自摩西之言、經我解釋的其餘記載講了一遍，藉此證明那向亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各和其餘列祖顯現、被記載為神的，乃是被立在父和主之下、服事祂旨意的，我說。
And so He speaks again concerning them: 'And the men rose up from there, and looked down toward the face of Sodom.' Then again He speaks to Abraham thus—He who was and is: 'I will not hide from my servant Abraham what I am about to do.' And the rest of what is recorded from the words of Moses and expounded by me I spoke again, through which it is demonstrated that He who appeared to Abraham and to Isaac and to Jacob and to the other patriarchs, being recorded as God, was set under the Father and Lord and ministered to His will, I said.
3-126:6
Ἐπέφερον δέ, εἰ καὶ μὴ εἶπον ἐν τοῖς ἔμπροσθεν· Οὕτω δὲ καί, ὅτε κρέας ἐπεθύμησεν ὁ λαὸς φαγεῖν καὶ ἀπιστεῖ Μωσῆς τῷ λελεγμένῳ κἀκεῖ ἀγγέλῳ, ἐπαγγελλομένῳ δώσειν αὐτοῖς τὸν θεὸν εἰς πλησμονήν, αὐτός, ὢν καὶ θεὸς καὶ ἄγγελος παρὰ τοῦ πατρὸς πεπεμμένος, ταῦτα εἰπεῖν καὶ πρᾶξαι δηλοῦται. Οὕτως γὰρ ἐπάγει ἡ γραφὴ λέγουσα· Καὶ εἶπε κύριος πρὸς Μωσῆν· Μὴ ἡ χεὶρ κυρίου οὐκ ἐξαρκέσει; Ἤδη γνώσῃ εἰ ἐπικαταλήψεταί σε ὁ λόγος μου ἢ οὔ. Καὶ πάλιν ἐν ἄλλοις λόγοις οὕτω φησί· Κύριος δὲ εἶπε πρός με· Οὐ διαβήσῃ τὸν Ἰορδάνην τοῦτον. Κύριος ὁ θεός σου, ὁ προπορευόμενος τοῦ προσώπου σου, αὐτὸς ἐξολοθρεύσει τὰ ἔθνη
我又補充說，即使我在前面沒有說過：照樣，當百姓想要吃肉、摩西不信那在那裡也被稱為使者、應許神要使他們得飽足的，那位——祂既是神又是從父差來的使者——被顯明是說了並行了這些事。因為經上如此補充說：「耶和華對摩西說：耶和華的手豈是縮短了嗎？現在你要看我的話向你應驗不應驗。」祂又在別處話語中如此說：「耶和華對我說：你必不得過這約旦河。耶和華你的神，那在你前面行的，祂必滅盡那些國民。」
And I added, even if I had not said it in what went before: So also, when the people desired to eat flesh and Moses disbelieved Him who is there too called Angel, who promised that God would give them satisfaction, He Himself, being both God and Angel sent from the Father, is shown to have said and done these things. For thus the Scripture adds, saying: 'And the Lord said to Moses: Shall the hand of the Lord not suffice? Now you shall know whether my word shall overtake you or not.' And again, in other words, He thus says: 'And the Lord said to me: You shall not cross this Jordan. The Lord your God, who goes before your face, He shall utterly destroy the nations.'
