3-101:1

Τὰ δὲ ἀκόλουθα τοῦ ψαλμοῦ ταῦτα ἐν οἷς λέγει· Ἐπὶ σοὶ ἤλπισαν οἱ πατέρες ἡμῶν, ἤλπισαν καὶ ἐρρύσω αὐτούς· πρὸς σὲ ἐκέκραξαν καὶ ἐσώθησαν, ἐπὶ σοὶ ἤλπισαν καὶ οὐ κατῃσχύνθησαν· ἐγὼ δέ εἰμι σκώληξ καὶ οὐκ ἄνθρωπος, ὄνειδος ἀνθρώπων καὶ ἐξουδένωμα λαοῦ· δηλωτικά ἐστι τοῦ καὶ πατέρας αὐτὸν ὁμολογεῖν τοὺς ἐλπίσαντας ἐπὶ τὸν θεὸν καὶ σωθέντας ὑπ αὐτοῦ, οἵτινες καὶ πατέρες ἦσαν τῆς παρθένου, δι ἧς ἐγεννήθη ἄνθρωπος γενόμενος, καὶ αὐτὸς σωθήσεσθαι ὑπὸ τοῦ αὐτοῦ θεοῦ μηνύων, ἀλλ οὐ τῇ αὐτοῦ βουλῇ ἢ ἰσχύϊ πράττειν τι καυχώμενος

詩篇接下去所說的：「我們的列祖倚靠你；他們倚靠你，你便搭救他們。他們呼求你就蒙拯救，倚靠你就不羞愧。但我是蟲，不是人；被人羞辱，被百姓藐視」——表明祂承認那些倚靠神並蒙祂拯救的人為列祖，他們也是那位祂藉以降生為人之童女的列祖。祂並宣告祂自己也要蒙這同一位神拯救，卻不誇口說祂憑自己的意思或力量行甚麼。

And the following words of the Psalm, in which He says: 'In You our fathers hoped; they hoped, and You delivered them. To You they cried and were saved; in You they hoped and were not put to shame. But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people'—indicate that He confesses as fathers those who hoped in God and were saved by Him, who were also the fathers of the virgin through whom He was born and became man. And He declares that He too would be saved by the same God, yet not boasting that He does anything by His own will or strength.

3-101:2

Καὶ γὰρ ἐπὶ γῆς τὸ αὐτὸ ἔπραξε· λέγοντος αὐτῷ τινος· Διδάσκαλε ἀγαθέ, ἀπεκρίνατο· Τί με λέγεις ἀγαθόν; Εἶς ἐστιν ἀγαθός, ὁ πατήρ μου ὁ ἐν τοῖς οὐρανοῖς. Τὸ δὲ εἰπεῖν Ἐγώ εἰμι σκώληξ καὶ οὐκ ἄνθρωπος, ὄνειδος ἀνθρώπων καὶ ἐξουθένημα λαοῦ, ἅπερ φαίνεται καὶ ὄντα καὶ γινόμενα αὐτῷ προέλεγεν. Ὄνειδος μὲν γὰρ ἡμῖν, τοῖς εἰς αὐτὸν πιστεύουσιν ἀνθρώποις, πανταχοῦ ἐστιν· ἐξουθένημα δὲ τοῦ λαοῦ, ὅτι ὑπὸ τοῦ λαοῦ ὑμῶν ἐξουδενωθεὶς καὶ ἀτιμωθεὶς ταῦτα ἔπαθεν ἅπερ διεθήκατε αὐτόν

因為在地上祂也是如此行：當有人對祂說「良善的夫子」時，祂回答說：「你為甚麼稱我是良善的？除了一位，就是我在天上的父，再沒有良善的。」當祂說「我是蟲，不是人；被人羞辱，被百姓藐視」時，祂是在預言那些臨到祂、並正臨到祂的事。因為對我們這些信祂的人，祂處處遭受羞辱；又被百姓藐視，因為祂被你們的百姓藐視、羞辱，受了你們加給祂的這些苦。

For on earth too He did the same: when someone said to Him, 'Good Teacher,' He answered, 'Why do you call me good? One is good, my Father who is in the heavens.' And when He said, 'I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people,' He was foretelling things which both are and are coming to pass for Him. For a reproach to us, the men who believe in Him, He is everywhere; and despised of the people, in that, being despised and dishonoured by your people, He suffered these things which you inflicted upon Him.

3-101:3

Καὶ τὰ ἀκόλουθα· Πάντες οἱ θεωροῦντές με ἐξεμυκτήρισάν με, καὶ ἐλάλησαν ἐν χείλεσιν, ἐκίνησαν κεφαλήν· Ἤλπισεν ἐπὶ κύριον, ῥυσάσθω αὐτόν, σωσάτω αὐτόν, ὅτι θέλει αὐτόν· τὰ αὐτὰ ὁμοίως ἐγγίνεσθαι αὐτῷ προεῖπεν. Οἱ γὰρ θεωροῦντες αὐτὸν ἐσταυρωμένον καὶ κεφαλὰς ἕκαστος ἐκίνουν καὶ τὰ χείλη διέστρεφον, καὶ τοῖς μυξωτῆρσιν ἐν ἀλλήλοις διαρρινοῦντες ἔλεγον εἰρωνευόμενοι ταῦταἃ καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἀπομνημονεύμασι τῶν ἀποστόλων αὐτοῦ γέγραπται· Υἱὸν θεοῦ ἑαυτὸν ἔλεγε, καταβὰς περιπατείτω· σωσάτω αὐτὸν ὁ θεός

接下去所說的：「凡看見我的都嗤笑我；他們撇嘴搖頭，說：他倚靠耶和華，耶和華可以搭救他，可以救他，因祂喜悅他」——祂預言這也要照樣臨到祂。因為那些看見祂被釘的人各人搖頭撇嘴，又彼此從鼻孔噴氣，譏誚地說那些也記在祂使徒記錄裡的話：「他說自己是神的兒子；讓他下來行走吧；讓神救他吧。」

And what follows: 'All they that see me have mocked me; they spoke with their lips, they shook the head: He hoped in the Lord; let Him deliver him, let Him save him, since He delights in him'—He foretold would likewise come upon Him. For those who saw Him crucified each shook their heads and twisted their lips, and snorting through their nostrils at one another, they said in mockery these things which are also written in the memoirs of His apostles: 'He said He was the Son of God; let Him come down and walk; let God save Him.'
