"And this very thing, my friends, the Word of God also said through Moses, declaring to us that the God He has revealed said to this same One, with this very intent, concerning the making of man, saying thus: 'Let us make man according to our image and likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of heaven and the cattle and all the earth and all the creeping things that creep upon the earth. And God made man; according to the image of God He made him; male and female He made them. And God blessed them, saying: Increase and multiply and fill the earth and have dominion over it.'"

And Jericho was shut up and fortified, and no one went out of it. And the Lord said to Joshua: Behold, I deliver Jericho into your hand, with its king who is in it, who are mighty in strength.'"
