Luc. XVII, 20-21; xxi, 37-38. Interrogatus autem a Pharisæis, quando venit regnum Dei, respondit eis, et dixit: Non venit regnum Dei cum observatione; neque dicent: Ecce hic, aut ecce illic. Ecce enim regnum Dei intra vos est. Erat autem diebus docens in templo: noctibus vero exibat et morabatur in monte Oliveti. Et omnis populus * ventitabat ad cum in templo, audire eum.
LUKE XVII, 20-21; XXI, 37-38. Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them and said: 'The kingdom of God does not come with observation; neither shall they say, Behold here, or behold there. For behold, the kingdom of God is within you.' Now in the daytime he was teaching in the temple; but at night he went out and stayed on the Mount of Olives. And all the people came early to him in the temple to hear him.
