MATTH. VI, 19-23. Nolite thesaurizare vobis thesauros in terra, ubi aerugo et tinea demolitur, et ubi fures effodiunt et furantur. Thesaurizate autem vobis thesauros in coelo, ubi neque aerugo neque tinea demolitur, et uhi fures non eFfodiunt nec furantur. Ubi enim est thesaurus tuus, ibi est cor tuum. — Lue. xi, 34-36. Lucerna corporis tui est oculus tuus. Si fucrit oculus tuus simplex, totum corpus tuum lucidum erit. Si autem oculus tuus nequam fuerit, totum corpus tuum tenebrosum erit. Si ergo lumen quod in te est tenebrae sunt, ipsae tenebrae quantæ erunt?
(Matt. 6:19-23) Lay not up to yourselves treasures on earth, where the rust and moth consume, and where thieves break through and steal. But lay up to yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither the rust nor moth doth consume, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. For where thy treasure is, there is thy heart also. (Luke 11:34-36) The light of thy body is thy eye. If thy eye be single, thy whole body shall be lightsome. But if thy eye be evil, thy whole body shall be darksome. If then the light that is in thee be darkness, the darkness itself, how great shall it be?
（太6:19-23）不要為自己積攢財寶在地上，地上有蟲子咬，能鏽壞，也有賊挖窟窿來偷。只要積攢財寶在天上，天上沒有蟲子咬，不能鏽壞，也沒有賊挖窟窿來偷。因為你的財寶在哪裡，你的心也在那裡。（路11:34-36）你眼睛就是身上的燈。你的眼睛若瞭亮，全身就光明；眼睛若昏花，全身就黑暗。你裡頭的光若黑暗了，那黑暗是何等大呢！
