MATTH. VIII, 16-18. Vespere autem facto, obtulerunt ei multos dæmonia habentes, et ejiciebat spiritus verbo, et omnes male habentes curavit, ut adimpleretur quod dictum est per Isaiam prophetam dicentem: Ipse infirmitates nostras accepit, et ægrotationes portavit (Isa. LIII, 4). videns autem Jesus turbas multas circum se, jussit ire trans fretum.
Matthew 8:16-18. Now when evening had come, they brought to him many who were possessed with demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, so that what was spoken by Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, saying: He himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses (Isaiah 53:4). And Jesus, seeing the great crowds around him, gave orders to cross over to the other side of the sea.
馬太福音八章16至18節。到了晚上，有人帶著許多被鬼附的來到耶穌跟前，他只用一句話就把鬼都趕出去，並且治好了一切有病的人。這是要應驗先知以賽亞的話，說：他代替我們的軟弱，擔當我們的疾病（以賽亞書五十三章4節）。耶穌見許多人圍著他，就吩咐渡到那邊去。
