MATTH. ix, 9; MARC. II, 14; Lue. v, 27-28. Et cum transiret inde Jesus, vidit hominem sedentem in telonio, Matthaeum nomine, et ait illi: Sequere me. Et surgens, relictis omnibus secutus est eum.
(Matt. 9:9; Mark 2:14; Luke 5:27-28) And as Jesus passed on from thence, he saw a man sitting in the custom-house, named Matthew; and he said to him: 'Follow me.' And rising up, he left all things and followed him.
