72:1
Psalmus, in Salomonem.
上帝啊，求你將判斷的權柄賜給王， 將公義賜給王的兒子。
God, give the king your justice; your righteousness to the royal son.
72:2
Deus, judicium tuum regi da, et justitiam tuam filio regis ; judicare populum tuum in justitia, et pauperes tuos in judicio.
他要按公義審判你的民， 按公平審判你的困苦人。
He will judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice.
72:3
Suscipiant montes pacem populo, et colles justitiam.
大山小山都要因公義使民得享平安。
The mountains shall bring prosperity to the people. The hills bring the fruit of righteousness.
72:4
Judicabit pauperes populi, et salvos faciet filios pauperum, et humiliabit calumniatorem.
他必為民中的困苦人伸冤， 拯救窮乏之輩， 壓碎那欺壓人的。
He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, and will break the oppressor in pieces.
72:5
Et permanebit cum sole, et ante lunam, in generatione et generationem.
太陽還存，月亮還在， 人要敬畏你，直到萬代！
They shall fear you while the sun endures; and as long as the moon, throughout all generations.
72:6
Descendet sicut pluvia in vellus, et sicut stillicidia stillantia super terram.
他必降臨，像雨降在已割的草地上， 如甘霖滋潤田地。
He will come down like rain on the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.
72:7
Orietur in diebus ejus justitia, et abundantia pacis, donec auferatur luna.
在他的日子，義人要發旺， 大有平安，好像月亮長存。
In his days, the righteous shall flourish, and abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.
72:8
Et dominabitur a mari usque ad mare, et a flumine usque ad terminos orbis terrarum.
他要執掌權柄，從這海直到那海， 從大河直到地極。
He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth.
72:9
Coram illo procident Aethiopes, et inimici ejus terram lingent.
住在曠野的，必在他面前下拜； 他的仇敵必要舔土。
Those who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him. His enemies shall lick the dust.
72:10
Reges Tharsis et insulae munera offerent ; reges Arabum et Saba dona adducent :
他施和海島的王要進貢； 示巴和西巴的王要獻禮物。
The kings of Tarshish and of the islands will bring tribute. The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
72:11
et adorabunt eum omnes reges terrae ; omnes gentes servient ei.
諸王都要叩拜他； 萬國都要事奉他。
Yes, all kings shall fall down before him. All nations shall serve him.
72:12
Quia liberabit pauperem a potente, et pauperem cui non erat adjutor.
因為，窮乏人呼求的時候，他要搭救； 沒有人幫助的困苦人，他也要搭救。
For he will deliver the needy when he cries; the poor, who has no helper.
72:13
Parcet pauperi et inopi, et animas pauperum salvas faciet.
他要憐恤貧寒和窮乏的人， 拯救窮苦人的性命。
He will have pity on the poor and needy. He will save the souls of the needy.
72:14
Ex usuris et iniquitate redimet animas eorum, et honorabile nomen eorum coram illo.
他要救贖他們脫離欺壓和強暴； 他們的血在他眼中看為寶貴。
He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence. Their blood will be precious in his sight.
72:15
Et vivet, et dabitur ei de auro Arabiae ; et adorabunt de ipso semper, tota die benedicent ei.
他們要存活。 示巴的金子要奉給他； 人要常常為他禱告，終日稱頌他。
He will live; and Sheba’s gold will be given to him. Men will pray for him continually. They will bless him all day long.
72:16
Et erit firmamentum in terra in summis montium ; superextolletur super Libanum fructus ejus, et florebunt de civitate sicut foenum terrae.
在地的山頂上，五穀必然茂盛 ； 所結的穀實要響動，如黎巴嫩的樹林； 城裏的人要發旺，如地上的草。
Abundance of grain shall be throughout the land. Its fruit sways like Lebanon. Let it flourish, thriving like the grass of the field.
72:17
Sit nomen ejus benedictum in saecula ; ante solem permanet nomen ejus. Et benedicentur in ipso omnes tribus terrae ; omnes gentes magnificabunt eum.
他的名要存到永遠， 要留傳如日之久。 人要因他蒙福； 萬國要稱他有福。
His name endures forever. His name continues as long as the sun. Men shall be blessed by him. All nations will call him blessed.
72:18
Benedictus Dominus Deus Israël, qui facit mirabilia solus.
獨行奇事的耶和華－以色列的上帝 是應當稱頌的！
Praise be to Yahweh God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.
72:19
Et benedictum nomen majestatis ejus in aeternum, et replebitur majestate ejus omnis terra. Fiat, fiat.
他榮耀的名也當稱頌，直到永遠。 願他的榮耀充滿全地！ 阿們！阿們！
Blessed be his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and amen.
72:20
Defecerunt laudes David, filii Jesse.
耶西的兒子－大衛的祈禱完畢。
This ends the prayers by David, the son of Jesse.
