83:1
Deus, quis similis erit tibi ? ne taceas, neque compescaris, Deus :
上帝啊，求你不要靜默！ 上帝啊，求你不要閉口，也不要不作聲！
God, don’t keep silent. Don’t keep silent, and don’t be still, God.
83:2
quoniam ecce inimici tui sonuerunt, et qui oderunt te extulerunt caput.
因為你的仇敵喧嚷， 恨你的抬起頭來。
For, behold, your enemies are stirred up. Those who hate you have lifted up their heads.
83:3
Super populum tuum malignaverunt consilium, et cogitaverunt adversus sanctos tuos.
他們同謀奸詐要害你的百姓， 彼此商議要害你所隱藏的人。
They conspire with cunning against your people. They plot against your cherished ones.
83:4
Dixerunt : Venite, et disperdamus eos de gente, et non memoretur nomen Israël ultra.
他們說：來吧，我們將他們剪滅， 使他們不再成國！ 使以色列的名不再被人記念！
“Come,” they say, “let’s destroy them as a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”
83:5
Quoniam cogitaverunt unanimiter ; simul adversum te testamentum disposuerunt :
他們同心商議， 彼此結盟，要抵擋你，
For they have conspired together with one mind. They form an alliance against you.
83:6
tabernacula Idumaeorum et Ismahelitae, Moab et Agareni,
就是住帳棚的以東人和以實瑪利人， 摩押和夏甲人，
The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab, and the Hagrites;
83:7
Gebal, et Ammon, et Amalec ; alienigenae cum habitantibus Tyrum.
迦巴勒、亞捫， 和亞瑪力、非利士並泰爾的居民。
Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
83:8
Etenim Assur venit cum illis : facti sunt in adjutorium filiis Lot.
亞述也與他們連合； 他們作羅得子孫的幫手。（細拉）
Assyria also is joined with them. They have helped the children of Lot. Selah.
83:9
Fac illis sicut Madian et Sisarae, sicut Jabin in torrente Cisson.
求你待他們，如待米甸， 如在基順河待西西拉和耶賓一樣。
Do to them as you did to Midian, as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the river Kishon;
83:10
Disperierunt in Endor ; facti sunt ut stercus terrae.
他們在隱‧多珥滅亡， 成了地上的糞土。
who perished at Endor, who became as dung for the earth.
83:11
Pone principes eorum sicut Oreb, et Zeb, et Zebee, et Salmana : omnes principes eorum,
求你叫他們的首領像俄立和西伊伯， 叫他們的王子都像西巴和撒慕拿。
Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
83:12
qui dixerunt : Haereditate possideamus sanctuarium Dei.
他們說：我們要得上帝的住處， 作為自己的產業。
who said, “Let’s take possession of God’s pasture lands.”
83:13
Deus meus, pone illos ut rotam, et sicut stipulam ante faciem venti.
我的上帝啊，求你叫他們像旋風的塵土， 像風前的碎稭。
My God, make them like tumbleweed, like chaff before the wind.
83:14
Sicut ignis qui comburit silvam, et sicut flamma comburens montes,
火怎樣焚燒樹林， 火焰怎樣燒着山嶺，
As the fire that burns the forest, as the flame that sets the mountains on fire,
83:15
ita persequeris illos in tempestate tua, et in ira tua turbabis eos.
求你也照樣用狂風追趕他們， 用暴雨恐嚇他們。
so pursue them with your tempest, and terrify them with your storm.
83:16
Imple facies eorum ignominia, et quaerent nomen tuum, Domine.
願你使他們滿面羞恥， 好叫他們尋求你－耶和華的名！
Fill their faces with confusion, that they may seek your name, Yahweh.
83:17
Erubescant, et conturbentur in saeculum saeculi, et confundantur, et pereant.
願他們永遠羞愧驚惶！ 願他們慚愧滅亡！
Let them be disappointed and dismayed forever. Yes, let them be confounded and perish;
83:18
Et cognoscant quia nomen tibi Dominus : tu solus Altissimus in omni terra.
使他們知道：惟獨你－ 名為耶和華的－是全地以上的至高者！
that they may know that you alone, whose name is Yahweh, are the Most High over all the earth.
