100:1
MATT. XVIII, 1-6; MARC. IX, 32-36; Luc. IX, 4G48. In illa hora cum domi esset, interrogabat eos: Quid in via tractabatis ? At illi tacebant: siquidem inter se in via disputabant quis illorum esset major ?
(Matt. xviii, 1-6; Mark ix, 32-36; Luke ix, 46-48.) In that hour, when he was at home, he asked them: What were you discussing on the way? But they held their peace; for on the way they had disputed among themselves which of them should be the greatest. And the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Who, thinkest thou, is the greater in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus, calling unto him a little child, set him in the midst of them, and said: Amen I say to you, unless you be converted and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, he is the greater in the kingdom of heaven. If any man desire to be the greater, he shall be the last of all, and the minister of all. And whosoever shall receive one such little child in my name, receiveth me.
100:2
Qui autem scandalizaverit unum de pusillis * illis, qui in me credunt, cxpedit et at suspendatur mola asiuaria in collo cjus, et demeigatur in profundum maris.
But whosoever shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a great millstone, such as is turned by an ass, were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
