(Matt. 28:16-20) And the eleven disciples went into Galilee, unto the mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And seeing him they adored; but some doubted. (Mark 16:14-20) And he upbraided their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them who had seen him after he was risen again. And he spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth. Going into the whole world, preach the gospel to every creature. Teach ye all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

but he that believeth not shall be condemned. And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they shall drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands upon the sick, and they shall recover. (Luke 24:49-53) But stay you in the city, till you be endued with power from on high. And he led them out as far as Bethany; and lifting up his hands, he blessed them. And it came to pass, whilst he blessed them, he departed from them, and was carried up into heaven; and he sitteth on the right hand of God. And they adoring went back into Jerusalem with great joy; and they were always in the temple, praising and blessing God.

And going forth they preached everywhere, the Lord working withal, and confirming the word with signs that followed.
