MATTH. XIII, 31-32; MARC. IV, 30-3i; Luc. XIII, 18-19. Aliam parabolam proposuit cis dicens Cui simile est regnum Dei, et cui simile esse æstimabo istud? Aut cui parabolae comparabimus illud ? Simile est granosinapis, quod accipiens homo, seminavit in hortum suum: quod minimum est ex omnibus oleribus; et fit arbor, ita ut volucres coeli veniant et habitent in ramis ejus.
耶穌又設個比喻對他們說：「神的國好像什麼？我拿什麼來比較它呢？又可用什麼比喻表明它呢？好像一粒芥菜種，有人拿去種在園子裡；這原是百種裡最小的，後來卻長成樹，甚至天上的飛鳥來宿在它的枝上。」
He proposed to them another parable, saying: 'To what is the kingdom of God like, and to what shall I esteem it to be like? Or to what parable shall we compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his garden; which is the least of all the herbs; yet it becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and dwell in its branches.'
