JOAN. XII, 1-9-19; MATTH. XXVI, G. Jesus ergo ante sex dies Paschæ venit Bethaniam, ubi fuerat Lazarus mortuus quem suscilavit Jesus. Et cum esset in domo Simonis leprosi, cognovit turba multa ex Judaeis, quia illic est: et venerunt non propter Jesum tantum, sed ut Lazarum viderent, quem suscitavit a mortuis. Pharisæi ergo dixerunt ad semetipsos: Videtis quia nibil proficimus? Ecce mundus totus post eum abiit. Cogitaverunt autem principes sacerdotum, ut et Lazarum interficerent; quia multi propter illum abibant ex Judaeis, et. crediderunt in Jesum. Fecerunt autem ei cœnam ibi: et Martba ministrabat: Lazarus vero erat unus ex discumbentibus cum eo.
約翰福音第十二章一至九、十九節；馬太福音第二十六章六節。逾越節前六日，耶穌來到伯大尼，就是他叫拉撒路從死裡復活之處。耶穌在長大痲瘋的西門家裡，有許多猶太人知道耶穌在那裡，就來了，不但是為耶穌的緣故，也是要看他從死裡所復活的拉撒路。法利賽人彼此說：「看哪，你們是徒勞無益，世人都隨從他去了。」但祭司長商議連拉撒路也要殺了，因有好些猶太人為拉撒路的緣故，回去信了耶穌。有人在那裡為耶穌預備筵席；馬大伺候，拉撒路也在那同耶穌坐席的人中。
JOHN XII, 1-9, 19; MATTHEW XXVI, 6. Jesus therefore, six days before the Passover, came to Bethany, where Lazarus had been dead, whom Jesus raised. And when he was in the house of Simon the leper, a great crowd of the Jews learned that he was there; and they came not only because of Jesus, but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead. The Pharisees therefore said among themselves: 'Do you see that we profit nothing? Behold, the whole world has gone after him.' But the chief priests took counsel that they might kill Lazarus also, because by reason of him many of the Jews went away and believed in Jesus. They made him a supper there, and Martha served; but Lazarus was one of those reclining with him.
